I'm fairly new to genealogy and researching, but the bug has bitten hard.|
Any photos that I have posted, feel free to copy for your use. When I take a photo, my hope is that it will be useful to researchers, be appreciated by survivors, and enjoyed by them all.

|Pinkie||Sarah Sharp (Bailey)|
I'm curious where you may have found Sarah's maiden name and if you're certain it's correct? I have been working on my family history and I believe the maiden name should be Beatty. Her birth year seems to match and her other family members are buried in the same cemetery. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you ☺️
Thank you for all of the pictures and information you have put on many findagave monuments. You are also maintaining pages for many of my relatives especially at Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, Lowndes, MS. I just want to thank you for your many efforts on behalf of so many people. I am grateful to you! Caro Harvey Feagin

Are you related to Maggie Cheatham? The correct maiden name is Ferra. Maggie's mother is my great grandmother. Do you have any more information on the family? I'm looking for information on her father and her mother ... trying to go back more generations.
|Mark Westlye||Andrew Jackson Sharp|
I don't know how easy it is for you, but the next time you are at Beersheba, would you take a look at the grave stone of Andrew Jackson Sharp and double-check that the birth year is 1840? It's hard to see from the photo that is posted, and the 1850 census (done in November of 1850) lists him as 11. It's of course possible that 1840 is correct, but 1839 would match the census. (Incidentally, a Sharp descendant's family Bible refers to him as Jack, has no birth date, and says that he "died in war.")
Thanks for all you do; it's terrific!

Hi Dixie, I got the following edit request for Nettie W. Dowdle Shackelford (Find A Grave 34272901) to remove the attached grave picture because it is not the correct one, but couldn't because I didn't add it. Could you please take a look and delete the link? Thanks!
Find A Grave contributor Kathyr has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Nettie Shackelford.

Name and gravestone don't match. Lela and William ( headstone) were Nettie Wills parents. Thanks

That is so nice of you. Yes, if you can transfer some to me, that would be great. I'm also looking for photos of the inside of the Weaver Place. I see it is listed as a historical building, but I don't see many photos of it online.

Greetings! I am a descendant of the Weaver Family. I noticed you have posted photos of grave makers, etc. I was wondering if you might have any photos of family, etc form the Sparks, Yaeger, Weaver, Smith lines. I have some that I am willing to share as well. Email me and we can converse. firstname.lastname@example.org
