Thomas "Tom" Dennis, Jr
Anonymous,

May I share with you that my great Uncle Thomas Dennis is buried at the Gasby New Zion Cemetery in Geneva, Sabine County.

His Certificate of Death records New Zion, but records the incorrect town of San Augustine.

May I ask that this memorial be corrected to the Gasby New Zion Cemetery in Geneva, Sabine County.

Also, just an FYI if a COD for a person of the Black race has New Hope then the person is buried at the Black Ankle New Hope Baptist Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas.

The New Hope Pentacoastal Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas is for Caucasian patrons.

I trust the above information has been helpful with your research.

Thank you,

Vanessa

Thank you for the new information. I appreciate you! I did not know him and am simply managing his memorial until family or friend step forward. I'd be happy to transfer to your care but not without your permission first.

RE: Townsend - Myers
The photo has now been added to Julius Myers. Thank you for noticing that. I had not noticed that her son was also mentioned on the same headstone.
