I have been doing my genealogy for many years and try to find primary proofs of any of my records. I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures, then trying to locate Obituary, death notices, land records and probate records. I did most of my work in person at court houses and clerk's offices. My husband and I traveled all over the United States and Canada gathering records of our families. Always try to help out on Find-a-grave. With nearly 20 years of a week at the Morman Library in Salt Lake City I have gathered a lot of info. Sometimes I can't get to places and really appreciate when someone will go out and photo grave stones and get records for me.

Caroline Purdy from New York
My husband, David Bishop, is a direct descendant of Alexander Purdy whom Caroline helped raise wondering if you had information on all of George Purdy's wives? I am especially interested in Abigail Light, Alexander Purdy's, mother.

Hello Mirene
I believe we may be connected through Myrtle Amanda Buckley. She is sister to my Great Great Grandma Lottie May Buckley - Bollinger.

I've added the note in your flower for this memorial to the Bio, with the addition of the word Twp after Dearborn. The death record original is clearly for the township.

I looked at a historical map for Dearborn Twp 1876
and it's clear that G Purdy's property is on the south edge of the township, in what is now Taylor, near the cemetery where they are buried. Thanks for your contribution. If you have additions for other memorials I control, send a message, I might not notice the flower, and they can get shoved out of view by later, less interesting flowers. If I could say one thing to the transcribers at Ancestry and Family Search, it would be to include everything in the record, including words like township and village. Wesley Baker
You posted a note on on another Baker memorial at Oakgrove cemetery, Taylor Twp., MI reference Wesley Baker, died 30 Jul 1887 age 31 years, 9 months, 22 days. I could not find a memorial for him, did you see a headstone? I would be very interested.
Thanks, Arlene

Hi again Mirene,
Thanks for deleting the second headstone photograph.

I also corrected her maiden name. Then I took your suggestion and I went with a possible father again.

But if you look up on Gustav Lau on it leads you back here # 117875484: Gustav was a brother!

Here's the page. Maybe you can see something that I am not. I am stumped, again!

Thanks for the lovely photograph of our family headstone. Love the black and white. You have inadvertently placed two of the same pictures. Might you remove one so family can add more? Thank you hugs, Wendy

I wonder how you and I are related. I saw your offering on Bernard Harold Vasher's memorial. His great-grandfather John Baptiste Laurain is my 3x great-grandfather.

RE: Three Rivers Cemetery, California
We could use the Snow (Water) here in California!
I take pics on fair winter days waiting for rainy days and we have not had any! Take them when you can! Pictures are always nice on the memorials. Any help you do is always appreciated! Rose

RE: Three Rivers Cemetery, California
I have lots more info on this family! I just did not know where the connections were! I was a neighbor to Joe and Sue Davis and after some research to find out that they were distant relatives! Rose
