I fell into the world of ancestry, genealogy, and burial locations when I began my own personal research into my family tree. It has quickly turned into an obcession. Finding headstones, and taking their photos and completing the history as best one can is rewarding.|
The most fulfilling of all is linking family members together and have the commom ribbon documented that held them together.
Life is transient, and this activity teaches me of the fragility of life, with a choice to live each day to the fullest.
My husband and I make every effort to enter requested information accurately. If you are not pleased or wish something else, please follow the edit link on the memorial in question and send it to me for corrections.
I look forward to gaining information, and feedback so I may grow as well.
Please know that it is our practice not to copy and paste entire obituaries when creating memorials. I do not publish obituary pictures as well. If I have not included information you feel should be added, please let me know the specific information you would like added. If you are a family member, I certainly will transfer mangement to you within FAG guidelines if that is your wish.

|DJ Paul||Many Thanks|
Pat and Billy,
Just a note to express our sincere thanks for the many great photos you have shot and provided to Find A Grave, in particular the many gravestone photos taken in the Haddam, CT area cemeteries. Your caring photography has given us much genealogical information regarding our early ancestry who lived there in Southeast Connecticut.

|Josie Reeves||Alfred Byron's Parents|
I'm Josie Reeves. I noticed that you added Alfred Byron to find a grave. I am related to him. My grandmother is his sister. So that would mean that he would be my great uncle. I was wondering if you guys could add Alfred's Parents as well. My grandmother said that they are buried in the same cemetery that Alfred is buried. In Enfield Connecticut. I would add it myself I am just not completely sure they are even in that cemetery.

I noticed you manage the above memorial. I would like to know if you are related to the Dorn Family? I have Dorn in my family tree who are from Berks County, PA, where Bruce K. Dorn was from. He may possibly be a relative. Can you let me know if you are related or what your connection may be to the family?
