Hi... was doing some more research on my Hamlin line and found your memorial to your Dad who was my first cousin 2x removed. Just wanted to say hi!
|Ira D's daugther||Family tree|
I just visited David Coleman's grandson, my father, Ira Donald Coleman, He shared a lot of family memories and history since he is the youngest and last of living children of Hammond and Sylvia. It's exciting learning some of the family history about Great-Grandpa David. I've been reading several of grandma's (Sylvia's) poems, songs and memories she wrote down. My favorite is her wonderful advice to her daughters, especially my aunt Velcie whom I knew the best and loved dearly like everyone else she came in contact. I never realized what a talented and creative thinker Grandma Sylvia was.
