Capt Lonnie Ray Hoover|
Unites States Marine Corps
I have been researching my family tree for over 30 years. I have over 50,000 relatives in my Ancestry.com tree.
My wife and I have sold our ranch and are now living in an RV. We will be on the road for at least three or four years, I want to visit and photograph all the cemeteries where my relatives are buried. My roots start in Virginia and North Carolina, I am starting there and working my way west.
One of my projects was to HONOR my fellow Veterans who are no longer with us, by photographing the over 20,000 memorials in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Ft Gibson, Oklahoma, to date I have taken photos of over 19,000 stones and added most to findagrave, then I went back, added wives and deleted all duplicates.
If I am managing one of your relatives, and they are not in my family tree, contact me and I will transfer it to you, no questions ask. Feel free to use any photo I have posted to Find A Grave, that's why I do this.
I research the family lines of my grandparents, WALSTON, LAWRENCE, WILLIS and HOOVER.

Thank you so much for posting a picture of my grandfather's headstone to his page # 35093849. I live in Ohio, and Glenn Ater, Jr. is buried in Texas. I doubt that I will ever make it down to visit his grave. I was able to spend time with him during the final years of his life here in Ohio, and I know that he took comfort in knowing that he would be buried near his beloved wife in Texas. Seeing his headstone is comforting to me too.

Iím having trouble adding the link to her parents. Since the link is already there for her husband, Find A Grave thinks Iím trying to add him again. Please link #69770833 for her father and #69769500 for her mother. Thank you.

So glad you were able to help those people find the resting place for Mr. Roy Kirk and to get the Military marker before it was lost.

Thank you for posting my Dad's memorial. My brother and sister kept his burial info from me years ago and now I can go here to see he actually was buried in a military facility. You have no idea how much it means to me to have found this. Thank you so very very much. You made my Christmas
