RE: Ruth Mary Stover b 1913
Hi Karen,

The alternate name for the Randall Burying Ground is the West Harpswell Cemetery. My grandparents are not listed there on FindAGrave nor are my aunt and her husband, Clement Munce. We go down several times a year to clean up and plant annuals.

Ruth Mary Stover b 1913
Ruth Mary was the daughter of Herman Dinsmore Stover and Leona Frye Johnson Stover - my grandparents. She died the day after her birth due to what was them called cretinism. The next year on December 29, 1914 her sister, also named Ruth Mary was born. It was common in those times to name the next child the same thing. My aunt Ruth passed on July 23, 2004 and is buried in the Old Randall Burying Ground in Harpswell.

Thanks for all the work you do!

Daniel S. Day
RE: Rebecca N. (Day) Davis
Karen, I actually found the obituary of David Davis on But, it didn't have Rebecca's middle initial. I see it has the marriage date. You also have a year of birth for Rebecca that isn't in the obituary. Do you know of other sources you might have come across for additional information? Anything else you can think of would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate it very much. Did you find the marriage date from the same source? Or did you have a different source for the marriage date? Any other suggestions where I might look to find the obituary again or other sources would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rebecca N. (Day) Davis
Karen, regarding your records for Rebecca Davis. You have listed a marriage record and identified her maiden name as Day. I have a Rebecca N Day in my line, and I am trying to determine if this is the same person. Do you have more underlying information or source information that you can share to help me to enable me to determine whether this is the same person?

RE: Brown's in Pa.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply. I have met another Karen whose husband is related to Nancy Little and her son John, she's from New Orleans. I take it you're not that Karen?

You do know that Nancy's son John was not Charles S. Brown's son. I have never found any adoption record for him either. I have only heard his father's last name was Streams. But he did go on to have a very large family all named Brown and unrelated to Charles'family.

I stick mostly to my blood lines and very rarely go off on unrelated lines, but if you have any info on John's father I'd appreciate it.

Wilhemina Schweir - Thoesen
Hi Karen,
Were you aware that Whilemina Schweir and her brother and father arrived from Germany on 16AUG1869 on the SS Main. A photo of this ship can be found on Bing. Her sister arrived later (1872)on the SS Ohio.

Elizabeth Sayre
Her burial was listed in the Cedar Twp. Cemetery book published by the Pocahontas County Historical Society (I think). Anyway, I know I got her burial out of that book.

I don't know if I can find my copy of this book, but if I can I will send you the page on which she is listed.

Wells and Acsa Cunningham
Hi Karen, Thanks for the additional information. I knew two of the children, Florence and Nora, Florence married Great Uncle Frank McPhilimy, and I knew their kids, Lorraine and Flossy, (didn't know Robert that well). If you would like to send me your email i will send the link and access code to my tribal pages family tree, I know i have at least one picture of Frank McPhilimy on there.
I have a picture of Wells and Acsa's headstone in my files and sought permission to use it on Find a Grave but have not heard back yet from them. I can send that also to you if you want it.
Thank you again for the info, it is always appreciated. Denny
