I live in the small village of Winnetoon, NE., population 70. During the winter hours, I spend my time researching family. My families are Ballou, Davidson, Fredrickson, Greggers, Harper, Hopkins, Hubbard, Neuhaus, Oleson, Reynolds, Seltz, Stone, Ward.|
If you need family info or obits from early Creighton, Nebraska newspapers 1901 thru 1913, I may be able to help. Have saved all obits I found. Some weeks are missing.
I also have access to most of the Creighton, Knox County, Nebraska newspapers from 1928 to current.
Except for some gravestones done by others, I have photographed the following Knox county cemeteries...
St. Ludger, Creighton
St. Wenceslaus...all near Verdigre
Bazile Creek Indian Cemetery north of Center
Howe Creek Indian Cemetery north of Center
Kemma east of Creighton
L'eau Qui Court Cemetery, Niobrara
Ponca Evangelical Lutheran, near Niobrara
Ponka Indian Cemetery, near Niobrara
Riverview, near Niobrara
Morrillville Cemetery between Center & Bloomfield
Ponca Valley Cemetery, Verdel
Riha Cemetery, near Verdel
Santee Catholic Cemetery, Santee
Winnetoon Cemetery, Winnetoon
Millerboro Cemetery in Antelope county.
There may be some recent burials that are not done, plus a few I could not find.

|Debi Moore||thank you|

For the heads up, sometimes that happens.

Thank you so much for creating these memorials that these infants may not be forgotten. I noted in Halsey and Ada Stocking's 1910 census that she had 4 children and none were living. Ancestry.com listed the children and then I was led to Find A Grave and your great memorials for these babies. Your work and time to add the news articles to their memorials is greatly appreciated. May many blessings be yours.

I lived in Bellevue and Papillion, 2004-2010. Volunteered at the Sarpy County Museum. One of the volunteers, about 93 now, Ann Melia Koch, still lives in the farm home she was born in, leases the land to farmers. Lives on Schram Rd in Gretna. Loved learning about the history of the county while doing volunteer research.

Oh, I never hit the wrong key! Ha!
Again, I appreciate so much what you and your friend have done. If you ever need information on Sarpy County, NE, let me know. Used to live, volunteer for obit lookups. Have a copy of "Sarpy County Cemeteries, Vol I-III" listing burials in the county.

I have no objection if you want to do obituary. Would you like this transferred to you? I added only because I think he bought the grocery store in Exeter from my great grandfather or something like that.
|Kevin Huigens||Thank you|
I just waned to let you know how much I appreciate you for the obituaries and other newspaper articles you have posted for my Huigens and Kain ancestors and other relatives from around Creighton. Thank you.
|April B||RE: Holecek family|
I would love anything you have and are willing to share. Anton's daughter Elsie(Holecek)Olson passed away Saturday and I am trying to put together what I can before her funeral tomorrow in Creighton.
