Bio

I live in Craig's Irish Settlement, the oldest settlement, church, and cemetery in Northampton County, PA. in 1728, 16 brave Scorch-Irish families lived here along with Lenape Indians. The settlers founded the towns of Bath and Northampton. They also settled East Allen, Allen, Upper Moore. and Lower Nazareth Townships. I started a restoration project on the abandoned cemetery and started a historical society, both with the help of the community. We are in our 12th year of restoration, maintenance, and research. We have identified the names on every tombstone. We have a list of people by rows and a list by alphabet. If you have family here at Horner's Cemetery, please contact us. We would love to talk with you.

Names in the CEMETERY are Allison, Andress, Blair, Bleckley, Boyd, Brown, Carr, Carrell, Clendinen, Clyde, Connor, Craig, Epply, Fatzinger, Gardner, Gray, Gregg, Hall, Hays, Hemphill, Horner, Humphrey, Irwin, Kennedy, Kerr, King, Lattimore, Likens, Loder, McClure, McHenry, McNair, McNeill, Millar, Miller, Moffet, Mulhallon, Nagel, Oliphant, Orr, Palmer, Perry, Ralston, Raup, Rosbrough, Russel, Schaffer, Scott, Walker, Weitzel, Wesselhoeft, Whiteside, Wilson, Worman, Wyckoff, and Young.

My FAMILY genealogical research includes the names: Arndt, Biechy, Bilheimer, Creyer, Danner, Diehl, Gaumers, Huber, Kerns, Knauss, Mantz, Moser, Remaley, Scheetz, Schuler, Silfies, Spengler, Stehley, Swartz, Taylor, and more.

I'm a member of the Bethlehem PA Chapter DAR, Recording Secretary (2003-2013), Historian (2013-2016), and Regent (2016-2019).
