Bio and Links
Bio Photo Very few of the people who have ever lived ever show up in the history books. It is mostly through genealogy and websites like this that they are ever remembered.

While any picture is better than no picture please avoid the temptation to post a picture of a grave marker that isn't better than the picture(s) already on a memorial simply because you took a picture. Pictures that are dark, taken at goofy angles, blurred, too far away, clip the tombstone/inscription or otherwise unreadable don't really help and shouldn't be posted.

RE: Leonard Rishel # 47803404
Perhaps I misinterpreted your true feeling when you wrote " my attitude is that the memorial really belongs to the deceased especially one which probably has lots of descendents (often including anyone else who adds a picture) and not just one particular person. I mean it's not like it's their mother or grandfather and they knew the person personally." but I still think it's a very profound analogy. And one which I heartily agree. One does not have to be related to a memorial to cherish and care for it no more than a live person having a closer friend than all his relatives combined.

I'm not sure what it is you are asking of me regarding these two memorials. As I am undergoing extensive chemo/radiation treatment, I'm transferring both memorials to you to maintain as appropriate.

Let us terminate this dialogue on this entire matter at this time.I fully understand your position and means to accomplish your goals. And I'm ok with status quo.
Good day

Johannes Schlappich was linked to Leonard in error. And the link for Lea was declined for some reason. I'm curious why these children links were never made, except one, until now. I have gone to great efforts to link all relatives of my ancestors, not just my direct line. When I make the same effort for my none ancestors I feel a special attachment for them. I think Leonard would appreciate that also. And perhaps you as well. You have not replied to the other Leonard memorial which was merged with mine, and linked to the spouse. Any thoughts?
Best wishes and regards for all your interests in findagrave.
By the way, my Rishel friend is quite old and has virtually no computer knowledge so you might say I am his ancestry guardian, as I am for many more friends and family associates.

Tim , why would you add a photo to my memorial that I already have a photo on. It is a memorial created by me & the photo was taken by me(which I like just fine) & she was an ancestor on my husbands side. My photo has been up for 7 years. Please ask the next time you want to add a photo to one of my memorials.

thanks,
Bonnie

Hi,
Although not related, I have a special interest in this Rishel line. My best friend, whose name became Risheill, descends directly from David 183331594, whose memorial w/ photo I added today. And that of his wife.

If I sent that correction incorrect, I again I apologize. His granddaughter is looking for information concerning her grandfather. He was sent to the orphanage around 10 years of age.

Robert Christian Horn
Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the photograph of the gravesite of Robert Christian Horn. It means so very much to be able to see where he was laid to rest, as I know I would never have been able to see it without your help. Thank you!
