I live in the Netherlands but spend two months a year in the US.|
If I made a memorial for a person you're related to, I'll gladly transfer.
I do not hold on to the strict FaG-guidelines but this does not mean that I will transfer to anyone who would like to manage the memorial just because they are related.
Always disclose your relationship. 'Because she/he is family' does not cut it.
If I made a mistake, please let me know and I'll correct it.
It is never my intention to make duplicates. If you find one please let me know and I will delete it right away.
Four years ago I started my own website about cemeteries in the Netherlands and in the US.
It's in Dutch.

Thank you for getting back to me on that. I think I didn't notice that the memorial said pet cemetery in the plot information until just after I hit send. If I had noticed, I wouldn't have sent the SAC. Sorry! Best Wishes.

Hi Jeanne: My name is Robert E Rommel. I too am a Find A Grave member. I noticed that you have posted some memorials for the Freitag name in Germany. I am trying to find anything documenting some of my relatives. My father was Alexander John Rommel. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 13, 1904. HIs father was Alexander William Rommel who was born May 17, 1873, who I believe was born in Berlin. I believe he came to America in 1891. I have some sketchy records from a deceased family member that says Alexander William Rommel's parents were Constance Rommel (born 1843 in Thüringen). The records show he married Louise Freitag (also born 1843 in Thüringen) and that they married in 1871. The records also show that Constance Rommel's parents were Alexander Rommel married to Anna Golschke (maybe Goeschke). I have no dates for them. It also shows that Louise Rommel's (nee Freitag) father was Alexander Freitag. I was hoping you might have something on any of these people. If not, I understand. Perhaps you could direct me to a source there in Europe where I might find some data. Thank you for taking time to read my post. I would sincerely appreciate a response either way. My email is email@example.com. Thank you again.
If you are anywhere near Maryland (or even Pennsylvania where most of my possibly Dutch ancestors are buried), let me know.
I have a virtual cemetery which is public at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=vcsr&GSvcid=718354
of the duplicates that we have found so far. If you go to that VC it might be easier for you to fix the ones of yours where he has more information. I think they ran the de-duper and the ones that were identical have already been merged.
Two people are working with me to find and make the memorials the same so you will get corrections from 3 different people

Why don't you add the nice photo of Susan and Lawrence to Lawrence's memorial page? I think it is a nice photo.

Hello, this is my grandfather's little sister who died tragically at age 8. Could you please transfer the management of this site to me since I am the family genealogist? Also, I went to the cemetery to locate the grave and could not find it and the office was not able locate the grave site either so if you could provide exact location you found this grave I would appreciate it. I greatly appreciate the transfer. Thank you, Trish
