RE: Ethel Johnson Rapp Gravestone

You're very welcome. I am glad I could have been of help.

The following are those buried at 30 Cedar Orange Metairie:

First Middle Last Name Age Date of Burial
James Rapp 03/13/1923
Ella L. Rapp 03/13/1923
James H. Rapp 66 02/12/1937
Ethel Clara Rapp 76 03/23/1956

I hope this helps,

I got the information for the memorials in Anfield Cemetery from this website:

I think a "grave" seems to be what some places would call a "plot", a larger area which has room for multiple graves.

I think consecrated ground is consecrated by the bishop of the Church of England and only members of the Church of England can be buried there. Unconsecrated ground is for other denominations.

Hello Diane. I'm sorry to inform that I accidentally fulfilled your photo request on Alonzo Cooper when got two memorials mixed up. I removed th photo of the wrong marker and unfortunately I don't have a photo of Alonzo's marker. If it doesn't cause you too much trouble you can request the photo again. My sincere apologies!

RE: Orian S. Hogg
I created his memorial based on a list I found that was compiled from records by E. M. Whetsel. I don't know the specifics, but most of those listed were in the military, so I would guess military records. Now there is another list I saw compiled from tombstone records by Kathy Manka, and he is not listed there. You're probably right that he is in the other cemetery, but I don't know. I would suggest clicking on the button on the memorial to request a volunteer to go take a photo of his grave in both cemeteries, and see what comes of it. If you would like, I'd be happy to transfer my memorial over to you and you can edit or delete it as you fit, according to your research.

RE: Clyde DeSau
Hello Diane,
You're very welcome!! I was happy to do it for you! My parents and I went to the cemetery today to look at our relatives graves there, and I saw your photo request. I hope the picture is okay? I took 3 pictures of the headstone with my phone, and the photo that is now on Clyde's memorial is one of the ones I took with my phone. Would you like me to post the two other photos that I took? When I posted the photo from my phone, I wasn't sure which one was better. I would be happy to post the other two photos if you'd like?
