Hi, my name is Julia and I live in Washington State,|
I am constantly looking for and adding burial records for my family, what a wonderful way to leave behind records of your family for future members to learn about us and remember where we are buried, I plan to write a book on my family history and Find a Grave is a wonderful resource, I recommend it's use for all my friends who want to trace their past.
I would love to hear from anyone who shares my family names (could be we may be related)and we can swap info.
Due To health problems I am no longer able to take cemetery photo requests in my area. I am often unable to be on my computer to check this site and e-mail, I will try to answer your posts when I possibly can.

Hi Ms. Knight, Here are the rules of the site in regards to adding obituaries to a memorial page. So regretfully, I won't add the full obituary. I feel I have added the pertinent information from the obituary which includes the date of publication of her obituary if someone wants to eventually need it and obtain it from the newspaper or funeral home. Sorry.
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
Do not copy obituary notices from newspapers (or from funeral home notices or web sites) to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed. [Top]
|Bill Lakey||Bales family|
I am interested in your Bales family. I have info on this family back to William Bales 1783 Pleasant Garden, Guilford, North Carolina, United States. I am sure they connected to the Quaker family in 1700's Maryland, Delaware area. If you have anything more I would like to compare notes with you. Contact me.

Hello Julia, I just today received an update on the family and will be adding it to Ancestry.com
within a few days.
I have researched for 40 + years and gathered much data and some photos. I would very much like to know your direct family tree, on the Pigar, Piquet, Piguet? I am on facebook also and my
My grt grt grandmother was Jeannette Meusy Arthaudand Anthony (Tony) Piquet/Piguet.
Thanks Mickey Paulk.
|Mike Pratt||RE: william lockhart craig|
I have updated the memorial with the information that you provided.
I also did some research on George Craig and found that is he buried in Round Knob Eighteen Mile Creek, Buffalo, Mason County (now Putnam), West Virginia.
If you do a google search for "George CRAIG died September 1815" (without quote) you should be able to find the same thing that I did. The information was found on a "My Genealogy Home Page" of Sharon Orlowski on Derry, NH.
|Roxanne Kuebler Weathers||William Lockhart Craig|
I recently took and added pictures of The Old Auxvasse Presbyterian Church Cemetery and realized that you also have a memorial for William Lockhart Craig at the Auxvasse Cemetery. I took pictures not at the Auxvasse Cemetery but at the Old Auxvasse Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
I hate to let you know this, but there is already a memorial for William Lockhart Craig at the Old Auxvasse Presbyterian Church Cemetery and beings that memorial is at the correct cemetery then your memorial is a duplicate.
Please check into this so that you see what I mean with there already being a memorial for him at the Old Auxvasse........Cemetery. Please delete your memorial for it was at the incorrect cemetery.
Thank you for your understanding. Roxanne
