I started looking for identity of these strangers in a box....a box of photos belonging to my father who passed when I was a little girl...(Reynolds, Lee, Baker, Bate, Carrithers, Strickland, Rogers, Potter, Stone)He was a wonderful man adventurous and loved the out doors and he would have loved this technology and I so wish he was here to tell me the family stories again now that I am old enough to pay attention to the details. I am grateful to learn anything I can about our family history of those now gone and to find and chat with a distant cousin is such a blessing. So I have worked on our entire family tree for more than two decades now. His parents from Maryland, Virginia and Kentucky and lived in Letcher County Kentucky and areas of Russell County Virginia, they claimed English, Scottish and Irish ancestry.

note: my sisters R.R. Sage Rogers, and I all completed a DNA test as well as our mother D.R. Fun! I can tell my mother's family from my father's family and it has been very helpful to learn the parents of Noah Milburn Reynolds b 1808 and Mary Chaney Stone b 1815! My sisters and I are only a few generations down from them so has helped to confirm that Annie Reynolds Gose is Noah's sister.

My mother-in-law who has now passed also entrusted me with her family information (Frantz, Davis) and photos which I think should be available to all. her family were pioneers here in Chelan County, Washington State.

My Aunts and Uncles have also given me old photos of my mother's family (Gerling, Huot, Barrett, Ferguson, Hoffman) and so want to share them. I love my family and hope to help preserve the memories of those gone. I am thrilled to learn stories about them and sometimes even get a glimpse of a photo or drawing or painting of them. My mother's family from Europe Hille Germany, and France, and she also has a Native American great grandmother whose adopted name was Kate Severiano of California she was an orphan of the Great CA flood.

I know I am not the only one curious about their heritage and am willing to photograph any headstones in my area. I do work full time as a nurse, so give me plenty of time for your requests. Please feel free to use my photos for your family records. I am not a glutton for needing my hard work recognized but if you copy them it is nice to post where you copied the photos for a reference to others... I only post a few on here and I might have more for you... so cousins, please contact me I would love to swap info. If I have your family member on here please write me as I would love to transfer them to you or if you prefer for me to watch over them please give me advice as to what you might like written on their biography page or send me an obituary for them. I truly want their memorials to be available to those interested. God Bless.
