Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family tree for 36 years and findagrave has been a great help. Most of my transcriptions were done pencil to paper, before digital cameras. Please let me know if I've made any errors in my transcriptions, I'll be happy to fix them. Please don't ask me to make changes or corrections based on speculation. Unless I know the family history, I enter what I see on the grave marker, just as it is. If you find I've made an entry for your family member, please request a transfer. I'll be more than happy to transfer them to you, if they're not my family. PLEASE request transfers through the EDIT tab on the memorial. Please feel free to use the photos I've added.

I would like to ask if you would take a moment to place a flower at my dad's memorial, Robert Eugene Tindal #26656113.

One Final Gift by: D.H. Cramer Scatter me not to the restless winds Nor toss my ashes to the sea. Remember now those years gone by When loving gifts I gave to thee. Remember now the happy times The family ties are shared. Don't leave my resting place unmarked As though you never cared.Deny me not one final gift For all who came to see.A simple lasting proof that says I loved and you loved me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~...~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Zora Ellen Husband Burke
In updating some of links to families buried in Best Cemetery, I was updating William O.Burke, son of William H. and Zora Ellen Husband Burke. On their marriage certificate it lists her parents as Joseph Y. and Sallie Tindal Husband. Zora was born in 1875 and in 1880 Census she is living with her Uncle and Aunt, John and Elizabeth Tindal. Do you know if Joseph Y. Husband is the same one who in 1878 married Sarah A. Brown and is on the stone with Quincy? Is Sallie related to you? Could she have died in childbirth and Zora raised by relatives?
Thanks for any help you can give,
Rosemary

Yes, but the death information you sent me (see below) lists both his mother and father with the surname of Kelley. That is why I said I changed the dates, but don't put a lot of faith in the information since I know the parents surnames are totally wrong.

This is what I received from you:

I made the edits to the day of death and place. However, I have to wonder about the information being correct as they have both of his parents with a surname of Kelley.

Hello cousin in law, Shelly,

Can you put the Horstman family picture on Lawrence Horstman memorial as well.

Thx for putting it on Freda's. Thx for creating and linking all the Norberg family members.

Have you ever searched for Lawrence Horstmans's parents' graves? Location? They are not on this URL site?

Saw on these notes there was a Norberg reunion last fall. Plz keep me in mind when next one comes up again. My family went to one 9 ish yrs ago at the lake.
Shirley Horstman Hales has passed away now and she was out link to the Norberg gatherings.

Thx,
Michelle Hales

RE: Cause of death Lee Herrald?
Are you attached, by any chance, to Erman Herrald then? If so, may I ask through which child? I've been researching them for an uncle; they were his birth family ... love finding another Minnesotan!

Cause of death Lee Herrald?
I'm very new to researching this family and finding them fascinating; the connection to coal mining history is very interesting. I've been unable to find a death record on Leonidas, and wondering if you've had any luck on figuring out the cause of his death; the two brothers being killed in later mining accidents, and his being a miner in the area of the first "mining war", plus him being only 35, raises questions about whether it could be mining related as well. Just wondering if you've got any more information that might help figure out where to look next ...

Thanks,

Beth in MN ;-)
