I was born and raised in Kansas. I moved to NW Houston in 1986. I am a mom to two History teachers that I could not be more proud of. Genealogy runs deep in our family.|
I find cemeteries comforting and peaceful. Therefore it is only fitting that I take pictures while I am in one. I want future generations to be able to easily find information on their relatives. The internet is a wonderful tool to use in this way.
I volunteer my time as a National Memorial Lady. We are a group of 30 ladies who honor our vets at every opportunity. I also am a Senior Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders who escort our military safely to their final resting place on motorcycles. I have a special gratitude for our military men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice as well as all who served the USA proudly. Both of my father-in-laws served in WWII, one in the US Army Air Corp. and the other in the US Navy.
If you are requesting a transfer for a particular memorial, please let me know what relation that you are to the deceased. I will make consideration at that point. If you want to use any of my grave stone pics, feel free to....no need to ask.

Boy I don't know either. It would seem that if you are in charge of a memorial you could change it? I have had the same problem. Thanks for trying, I will try to contact find a grave directly. -Ranae

Hello Jan, I am also a find a Grave member. I would like to respectfully submit a correction to the posting of Armand L Cote (1932-1994). You have Armand (1932-1994) tied to the wrong family. If you check there is another Armand L Cote on Find a Grave. That Armand (1921-1999) is the father of Deborah Joy Cote, Donna Kallman, and the husband of Phyllis Jean Beck not your Armand (1932-1994). Donna Kallman is my sister in law. All family links are incorrect. I am in the process of contacting other find a grave members also concerning the mix-up - R. Kallman
Thank you and please message me if you have any questions.

Thank you for posting his information. Les and I were roommates in Infantry Officer Candidate School. He was from New York and did demolition derby as a hobby.

I sent you several edits for "Bill". He was a distant cousin of my mothers. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for taking the photo of Gordon Raleigh's gravestone. It was wonderful that you did it quickly and took such a good, clear picture.
