Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in West Virginia all my life. I grew up in Preston County, lived in Wood County for 9 years and now live in Barbour County. Most of my ancestors have been in West Virginia for hundreds of years, but my paternal grandmother's family is from Kansas.
I have found Find a Grave to be a great source. In an effort to help others find relatives, I often take pictures of other graves and make memorials when I visit cemeteries. I sometimes transcribe information from books at my local library or local death records. If you come across one of your relatives in my records, let me know. I'll gladly transfer them to you (as long as they are not also mine). I believe they should be maintained by relatives, whenever possible.
My relatives are saved in my virtual cemeteries and also usually include addition biographical information.

Louisa Cornwell Robey 111289265
I saw you had transferred Louisa to Cindy Cornwell.
The info listed Louisa's birth 2 years after her mothers birth.
I'm interested in Strahin/Strahan and Cornwell connections as my ancestor James Strahan changed to Strahin was first believed to have been married to a Cornwell.
He is buried in Cairo,WV. beside his second wife Sarah(Lee) Strahin.
Curious as to your source on that info,it may be a big help.
Thank You so much.

Jesse Herbert Burke
Lucretia my name is John Summerfield. Jesse Jerimiah Fitch Burke was my great uncle. His son Jesse Herbert Burke married my aunt Lucy Jane Summerfield. I have lots of pictures of them and their children. Truman Burke was killed in a mineing accident. Two of the girls died at a young age. Donald just died last year. Aunt Lucy Jane and uncle Jesse had nine children. Lucy Jane's mother was Clarasy Ettie Jenkins from Colebank . Her parents were George and Barbara Deal Jenkins. Find a Grave was a great help in find these kin for my cousin. Thank you for the picture of Hiram Greenwood Burke 1866 and his wife and children. Lucy Jane Summerfield was the daughter of William Arthur Summerfield. You may can link him to the Burkes. His line goes all the way back to Joseph Summerfield and Winnie Nelson.

RE: Samuel Sypolt
I am using find a grave. I use Family for most of my searches as it pulls from other sources (including I also have my family tree using although I need to update my subscription. I think I have about 450 people in the family tree now.
