RE: Mr. James Perryman
Hi Elsie,
Colonel James Perryman was one of the Marine Corps Huey Helicopter pilots who flew overhead all night long in support of the 18 Marines (myself included) surrounded by a North Vietnamese Army Battalion and fighting the Battle of Hill 488 on the ground. Sponsoring his memorial is but a very small way I can help to repay the very great thing he did that night. Semper Fi.

RE: Beatrice C. Griffith Powell

I'd submitted a Photo Request for Beatrice and her husband, Davis Addison Powell; along with her sister, Mavis R. Griffith Corder; and her husband, Calvin "Cowboy" Lee Corder to Findagrave.

Earlier this morning I received a message that Photo Volunteer, KimonthePatuxent, Member # 47413443 had found out from the Fort Lincoln Cemetery Office that Beatrice C. Griffith Powell wasn't listed in their records.

Therefore my Photo Request for her was being removed. As the one that created her Memorial I sent you a message through Findagrave letting you know what I'd been told.

Since The Washington Post Obituary from August 2010 for Beatrice lists her as being buried in Fort Lincoln Cemetery there needs to be further checking into the matter before removing her Memorial.

Margaret Lucille Wyatt Baumgardener
Hi
I was hoping to get some information on Margaret.
My mother and her father were brother and sister.
I also do genealogy work and have searched for her for several years. How I regret not finding her sooner. My mother died in 2012 and we tried so hard to find her before her passing.

Would love to talk with you and find what she was like.
The picture you have on her site looks so much like two of Mom's sisters. The eyes the smile, lovely lady.
my email address is jaknpat@visuallink.com

RE: Margaret Lucille Baumgardner
Thank you for your reply, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I have lost a special lady who felt so much like we were born to be bosom buddies and even though she's been gone almost 10 years some days it feels just like yesterday. The picture on her memorial page gives off a feel of warmth and lightness. It's a beautiful picture. I think she went by the name Wyatt and was raised by her grandmother Doshua Gertrude Wyatt Miller. Maybe lived with an aunt or uncle at some point. I was actually hoping you might now a thing or two about this. If so then she started out as a Mooney. Her mother would have been Doshua's daughter Hettie Wyatt, she married William Edgar Mooney. William shot Hettie, then after her death the following morning killed his self. This was in 1932. The last we've been able to find of their child was on a 1940 census and she was living with Doshua and Uncles Cecil and Clayton in Buchanan County, Va.. I recently found newspaper obits for some of the family and put it together after seeing Margarets name in them. Any info on her or what she was like or her family would be wonderful. Thank you, Lea

Margaret Lucille Baumgardner
Hi, I saw that you left a message on the memorial for Margaret Lucille Baumgardner, Memorial# 155434628 and it seemed as if you knew her. I am trying to find out is she was Margaret Lucille Mooney or Wyatt before her marriage. If so she is a part of my husbands family tree.
Thank you!
Lea
