We really like the whole Find-a-Grave concept since we enjoy researching local, military, Civil War, and family history. If you have any additions or corrections on our entries, let us know. Also we do not mind making transfers to anyone researching or wishing to further document their family tree (as long it is not one of our family lines we are working). We are very busy, so don't be surprised if it doesn't take a couple of months to get to your request, but we will do our best to help all.|

Lesa, I created his memorial before I realized he was your dad so I am transferring it to you. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Hello Jody & Lesa,
Is it possible on your next visit to Mt. Olivet Cemetery to take a better photo of an info. panel at the gravel of WW 1 Lieut. James Britt Journey who was killed in France. I am trying to create a special tribute for him, and that 1 photo of that special bronze info marker was taken at an odd angle, and I cannot use it in the display. Please let me know, also I will email you from my email account. Thank you very much...

Hi I am wondering if you would transfer the following graves that are related to me? They are located in Oakwood Cemetery in Tulahoma, Coffee County, TN.
1) William Allison Kilgore (Great-Grandfather)
B: Dec 9, 1867 D: Mar 20, 1954
2) Lucretia Zellers Kilgore (Great-Grandmother
B: Sep 2, 1868. D: Mar 19, 1916
3) Floyd Velda Kilgore (Grandfather)
B: Jul 25, 1900. D: Oct 3, 1976
4) Glen Leon (Great-Uncle)
B: 1910. D: 1910
5) Phillip Edward Kilgore (Uncle)
B: Jul 11, 1940 D: Mar 25, 1992
I also do work with our ancestry and can do the updates and pictures of most of the above and add a few more that are now buried there that are not on find-a-grave. Thank you for the work you do in recording the grave sites.

Before I realized that you share surname with this indvidual, I had already posted a connection to her possible adopted parents:
Burl Burton Hackney 124833909
Clara Lucille Nesbitt Hackney 124837655
Both are buried at Woodlawn, Nashville, Davidson Co., TN.
Although I never met him, Burl Burton Hackney was my granduncle. The 1930 Davidson Co., TN census lists Catherine ?Bruce? and her brother William H. (Billie) ?Bruce? as boarders with Burl and Clara. By the 1940, Catherine and William are listed as their children. Just wondering if you know the birth surname of Catherine and William H?
Catherine Baltz's 2 Mar 1986 Death Notice (The Tennessean) notes that her brother Bill Hackney is still living. It does not mention Burl and Clara's three natural children who were living at the time. But Burl Hackney's 8 Oct 1957 Death Notice (The Tennessean) mentions Catherine and William. They are noted as Mrs. Robert Baltz Jr. of Nashville and Bill Hackney of Pittsburgh, PA.
There is a wonderful article dated 26 Dec 1990 (The Tennessean) about a permanent nativity scene, erected by Robert J. Baltz, Jr at his home in Hermitage, TN. The nativity scene is dedicated to Catherine Hackney Baltz for her role as "mother, grandmother and wife".

Thank you all so much for your contributions, it is wonderful. I am grateful for all the work you have done. I also would like to thank cousin Becky for the wonderful pictures she has contributed. Will it be OK to copy or reproduce for my own ancestry story? I don't want to cause a copyright problem and would like to get your permission. Thank you so much, we are also descendants of the Awalt that married a Limbaugh.

just curious, it seems you have researched sanford berry of the revolutionary war, is there perhaps any information that might have a relationship to a rose berry who married a thomas ashby, they are from the same area of virginia as him and three of thier sons served under washington in the revolutionary war, though they later movedto ky instead of tn.
