Bio Photo BIG NEWS!!! I was flooded out of Baton Rouge and am now living in Broadway Virginia where i will continue my grave hunting. .. am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks .Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. .I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 16 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts.

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner to thank you for taking the picture of June's headstone. I had major surgery last week and have not been at my computer. I do appreciate you taking the picture!

Pictures you took of the Grove Monument
Hi Bobby,

Thank you so much for the pictures you took of the Grove monument. I'm in the process of thinking about what I would like etched on the other side for my husband and myself.

Could you possibly send an email copy to me that I could print out and use to design the other side. That would be so helpful. My email address is spgbb11@bellsouth.net. This has been a difficult task for me working from Florida, but everyone in Chambersburg has been so helpful. My husband, Richard, grew up in Marion and went to school at CHS graduating in 1947. I loved visiting the area with him and attending his class reunions. what an awesome group of people.

Again, thank you for the pictures. It is a wonderful work that you do. Pray you are safe from the storm that is passing through the NE today.

Sincerely,
Sylvia T Grove

Thank you!
Many thanks for the photo of Ruth Hicks' grave. I tried to get plot info over the phone but the cemetery caretaker just said he could show someone if they came looking. So you get special thanks for finding her in this fairly large cemetery.
