I lost touch with my family over forty years ago after my father died. Now thanks to Ancestry, Genes Reunited and Find A Grave, I have made contact with cousins that I hadn't seen since 1970 and many more that I ever knew I had. I now have relatives (some very distant) all over the world.|
So now it's payback time. I'm adding all my photos of headstones and any grave details that I have that may help others.

Just wondering if William is part of your "lost family". Would you like me to transfer him to you?

Rex was my first cousin and he had two children to his marriage to Kath. Graham who has also passed away and Gayle who is still living. Would you be able to correct the information. Many thanks in advance Paula McRae

You're very welcome, Loz.
If you email the funeral director, they might be able to help.
|David Neller||Re: Elizabeth Brook|
Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to send
me edits for Elizabeth Brook which I have accepted
and actioned. Your help is much appreciated. I would be interested to learn your source for the changes I have made and if you happen to know the name of her husband. Such a pity that she is buried in an area with very few headstones and mainly public graves but your information has helped me to create an even more comprehensive memorial page which may be of interest and comfort to surviving family members.
Thanks and regards, David

Loz, thank you SO MUCH for the transfers. I really appreciate it. Yes, I will link all 8 children (assuming they are all on here) and put photos of the stones I have.
Thank you again,

Dear Mr. Hennessy,
just to resend my request that I sent earlier by e-mail to ask permission to send the image of my Greatgrandfather's, Frank Shimmin's, grave marker ((K)646) to my 85 year old Uncle Eric on the Isle of Man?
As I mentioned in my e-mail, Frank Shimmin, Sapper, 7305, was in the Royal Engineers and is on the War Memorial in Douglas promenade under Royal Artillery (?).
Thank you for taking the photograph, I will be visiting the Cemetery in the very near future.
R. Kraft (Cambridge).

Armley Hill Top Cemetery, Leeds, West Yorks you have recent grave photos and have just discovered my wifes relative was buried here and wonder if you ever get there again you may ask for the plot number as would aid a future search as am led to believe its a bye law that anyone at a cemetery can request the plot details and staff must ask office for the details - hope i make sense as getting over a stroke - he was

Hi. I pass the Wakapuaka cemetery often and so I looked up your recent additions with a view to photographing the headstones. From the records:
Amy Wyatt - 174473348
Helen Almond - 174474266
Harold Almond - 174474230
None of the above are buried at Wakapuaka. All were cremated at the Wakapuaka Crematorium but there is no record of ashes disposal.
Lewis Adams - 174289372
Cemetery records indicate that the Lewis Adams buried at Wakapuaka is buried alongside his wife - Jessie. Your memorial for James Adams (the son) records Lewis's wife as 'Mary'. Do you know if 'Jessie' is a nickname and if Jessie and Mary are one and the same? The NZ BDM index shows a marriage between a Lewis Adams and a Mary Jane Palmer in 1899 as well as a death for Mary Jane Adams on 30/3/1938. None of the records show Lewis with a second name 'Frederick'. Lastly, the headstone at Wakapuaka records the name as 'Louis'.
