I began serious genealogical research on my family in 1991 before moving to Nevada. My mother and I combined our photos and efforts to record our family history during frequent visits to Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. My mother, Eunice House Peters, died July 2008 at the age of 87 and my Dad, Lester J. Peters, died June 2009 at the age of 93.They were married 73 years.|
In 2002, I co-authored a work book with my friend, Barbara L. Hodges, CGRS. The work book is titled: "Some Churchill County Nevada Records, 1850-1900, A Researchers Guide". Second printing in 2003. Our plan is to continue with a series of work books on the original counties prior to 1900. While helping others to research their family history, I am also working on a book about the early settlers of the "Gold Rush Community" of Big Oak Flat & Groveland,California, where I grew up & lived from 1946-1994. In 2010, I published a reproduction of "Complete Indexed Map of California and Nevada, 1910" which was found in Big Oak Flat.
Teaming up with FAG has given me the opportunity to give back to the many people who have helped me in my research over the years.
Many of the memorials that I have entered on FAG are not my relatives and I will be happy to transfer them to direct decendents who qualify by FAG rules.

|Anne Shurtleff Stevens||Thank you!|
Just wanted to say thank you for the many, many prompt edits. If I send you an edit, I know I don't have to check up on it. SO refreshing. Bless your heart.
|Anne Shurtleff Stevens||Email addresses as sources|
You had kindly updated many of your Coulterville memorials with my edits, which I truly appreciate. I must ask you to now kindly remove my email address as the source for those edits. Web robots are programs that search the internet continually for newly added email addresses in order to gather and sell those addresses to outside sources for the purpose of sending out spam. I noticed a sharp increase in spam about the time you honored my edits, and only the other day did I notice you were placing my email, and the email of other contributors in the bios. I must ask you to remove my emails and do NOT use emails as a source. The volunteer number or names will suffice nicely. I have sent all the email repair edits that I have found to you, would you please remove them at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

You have posted Memorials for this couple from Stent Cem in Tuolumne Co. CA. DAR does not accept findagrave memorials as evidence. They do accept photos of gravestones. Could you please post photos or let me know the source of your information? ie. personal transcription , cemetery records, published history, etc. Thank you.

The information has been transferred. I have requested a change of parents for Lucius and explained the reason.
I've been trying to find out more about my 3rd great-grandfather, Thomas C. Brunton, but there are some thing that I just can't find. I even visited Sonora a few years ago and spoke with someone from the Historical Society there. She later sent me the information that you have posted here, that his body was misplaced and burial site is unknown.
I just wonder if there is any way to find out more information about him.
I also have learned that his birth information is incorrect...he was actually born in 1808, not 1797. Can you please make that correction?
Thank you so much.

I am working on making sure everyone who is buried at the Pacheco Cemetery is documented on Finda A Grave.
Because, my great grand parents are buried there I have taken a keen interest in the cemetery.
I am working on getting information about each person buried there and compiling all the information to create a book,
Can you tell me Joseph;s and his wife's story (if you know it)
