Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Campbell Co. Tn. & raised mainly in Anderson Co. Tn. I am a direct descendant of Col. Stephen Copeland of Overton Co. Tn. I love the genealogy hunt. & I love the way Find-A-Grave is set up. By adding memorials to this site I feel we are helping our descendants to see & know where they came from..
My Main Surnames are:
Copeland, Buck, Dunn, Hull, Jones, Kinsella,
Lawhorn, Looper, Loveday, Lowhorn, McCloud, Tompkins, Walker, White
I have created several memorials for people who are not related to me. When I visit a cemetery I take as many photos as I can. If any of these happen to be your kin, I will be glad to transfer them to your care. I love the way that Find-A-Grave allows us to link our ancestors. I think memorials should be in the care of the family members that can link them.
Thanks
Bob

Nancy Lee Wallace
Hi, I was wondering if you could transfer Find A Grave Memorial# 75191121 Nancy Lee Wallace as well as her sibling Victor Mark Wallace to me. Nancy was my mother. Also I thought you should know she is not buried in Red Hill Cemetery. Neither is Mark (Victor). My mom is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri and Mark was cremated and his ashes were taken and spread out on a lake somewhere. I believe the 3rd name on my grandparent's gravestone is more than likely my uncle Robert Chance Wallace. He also is not buried at Red Hill Cemetery. I believe he is buried somewhere in Biloxi, Mississippi where he passed away. If I'm not mistaken my mom's brother Charles had these plaques made. I'm assuming he did this because there are 5 other siblings who are buried there at Red Hill Cemetery so maybe he was just trying to keep them all together, at least in name. Jessie Frank, Louise Kay, George Lynn, Grace June & Archie Dwayne Wallace are all children of Robert Henry & Nola Mae (Taylor) Wallace. My grandparents had 11 children - there are now only 3 still alive. I don't know if you are related somehow or if you just added these graves for other people but if you need any other info. I would be happy to share. You may email me at meowkittykatmeow.kc@gmail.com or here on findagrave. Thanks. Kathy

Laurel Dale Cemetery - Rugby
Hi Bob,

Tom Weaver here in Minnesota - My father Paul Henry Weaver from the Miami River Valley of OHIO, had several "Cincinatti Cousins" from the Lender, Oberheu lineage that moved to the Rugby area that I have traced to Laurel Dale Cemetery - Thanks for your work there - I visited Rugby in 1978 to meet my dad's cousin Helen Lourie, who moved with her parents, James and Jenni Oberheu Lourie, from Cincy to a Stearns KY "lumbercamp by 1910 and the census - (she died soon after and had no descendants) I just added data from my research to a couple of your find a grave pages at Laurel Dale - I have heard of folks who are still active around Rugby - Do you know the caretaker of the cemetery? Or an active resident of Rugby or surrounds I could contact? I am planning to drive to Ohio and then thru Kentucky to Morgan- Scott Co Tennessee in Feb - March - and have heard that the Harrow Road Cafe or Inn might have some relatives there - Might you know anything about that? - Looking for connections - Thanks for any ideas, and for your kind consideration and good work on find a grave, Best regards, Tom (family genealogy and family story teller)

Wallace
Hi, I have a question about some of the Wallace memorials you have. Nancy Lee Wallace is my mother and I was surprised to see she has something at Red Hill Cemetery because she is actually buried in Sikeston, MO. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Also my uncles Robert Chance Wallace and Victor Mark Wallace. Robert died in Mississippi and as far as I know no one in the family did any kind of memorial or anything for him. He was, putting this politely, the black sheep of the family. And Mark (Victor went by his middle name)died in Missouri and was cremated. Or at least that's what I was led to believe. Hubert Wallace was my mom's half 1st cousin. You have a few other Wallace's that are in the same cemetery that I'm more than likely related to but I can't say for sure. However, Im curious if you Came across a John Isaac Wallace (my mom's uncle) or Mary Della Wallace (her grandmother). also my grandparents had 5 other children that died at young ages - Jesse Frank Wallace, Louise Kay Wallace, George Lynn Wallace, Grace June Wallace, & Archie Dwayne Wallace. I think they were all buried in the same cemetery but I'm not positive. Did you come across any of them? You may contact me either through here or my email meowkittykatmeow.kc@gmail.com Thanks

Hi Bob, Was talking to my Aunt Jean and she told me that Joe was of course also a farmer, but I didn't know he was a janitor for Medford School. Just thought you would like to know.
