I am retired and enjoy working on genealogy as a hobby. I have a masters degree from the University of Oklahoma and I'm using my research skills to hunt down my ancestors.|
www.findagrave.com is a terrific web site.
My ancestors include but are not limited to:
Allison, Campbell, Morris, Johnson, Holdsworth, Baird, Kirkpatrick, Phillippi, Worley, Sweeney, Vaught, Watson, Dale, Wheeler, Hoyt, Newman
I make an effort to connect husbands, wives and families using obituaries and census records.
As many of you know, I have spent hours taking photos in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City in order to create memorials. I also do research in the Oklahoma Historical Society Library for some of my memorials.
Member: Oklahoma Historical Society, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Civil War Trust, Friends of Mt Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, National Women's History Museum, Pulaski Co KY Historical Society, Cornerstone Genealogical Society (PA), Morrow Co OH Genealogical Society, Osborne Co KS Historical Society, Logan Co OK Genealogical Society.
Use the "Suggest a Correction" feature on the appropriate memorial to submit information or any requests. I follow the Find-A-Grave guidelines regarding the transfer of memorials. Any transfer requests should only be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
If you send a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you descend, generation-by-generation, from that person.
My photos may be used in your family trees. They are not to be used in cemetery books/CDs that are to be sold.

I am pretty new at this and I just did not know. Thank you for letting me know.

I just saw your flower and note on his memorial page. He is my paternal great grandfather. I am researching him and trying to find more information about him. Would you happen to have any information, stories, sources or pictures of him that you could share with me? I would very much appreciate any information.

I have taken down both John and Arilla Joseph's obits like you asked. I don't understand why you would thank me for them and ask where and when they were in the paper and then ask me to remove them. They are your memorials and I will respect your wishes.

I have mailed you four photos. The first and last show where the Wm. Ward individual stone is at the base. Ann Ward white stone should be to either side, or in the area. There is none there.

Thank you for removing information. I remember going to grandma's funeral 31 years ago. She came to the USA as a widow with 3 children after being released from a concentration camp. Her husband died of smallpox when my mother was 9 years old. She loved us very much and appreciated life.
You entered some bio information on the memorial 34765946 for Pvt Abraham Depew and I wondered where you got that information? I am trying to find documentation for my great grandmother Rachel Depew who may be connected to the same family. There are LOTS of Depews and they moved around a lot and re-used first names even more than my Knisely family which makes them very hard to document.
