Anyone who wants to take over management of any memorials.....just ask!
Also, any and all photos that I've taken in these cemeteries can be used by anyone; you don't even have to ask! If anyone has a better photo of a gravemarker that I've added, just add it and let me know, and I will delete the one I added.

Julie Brough
Mrs. E B Sherman
Hello Vernon,

I just found that two other photos of my great-grandmother's marker has been posted in Highland Cemetery.

I would be glad to take over its management. Her name is Jane Sherman (or Mrs. Eli B. Sherman). I have been unsuccessful in discovering her maiden name, but I keep hoping. Do you just take photos of all the markers in Highland Cemetery? I am also looking for her son, Frank A. Sherman, which probably would have been a county paid burial. Any idea if there is a special cemetery they use for indigents?

I have her date of birth and death, and place of birth. In order to put the information in, do you have to give me permission to edit your photo?
Thanks very much!

RE: Leonard Wiley
His father is NOT William H Wiley. Do you mean William H Griffin? Just because a family member gave the info or signed it doesn't mean it's right.

RE: Leonard Wiley
Thanks for going to the cemetery and checking the records. The Leonard that I have was married to Effie Elizabeth [Griffin] Eslerline but I can't find any records with her and a Leonard I. Everything I have found is Leonard L. Here's the MARRIAGE RECORD
Name: Leonard L Wiley
Gender: Male
Race: White
Birth Year: abt 1875
Birth Place: Michigan
Marriage Date: 3 Nov 1918
Marriage Place: Burr Oak, St Joseph, Michigan, USA
Age: 43
Residence Place: Bronson, Michigan
Father: S J Wiley
Mother: Malilda Strot
Spouse: Effie Esterline
Record Number: 7968
Film: 141
Film Description: 1918 St Clair - 1918 Wayne
Michigan, Marriage Records, 1867-1952 Image p. 49

William H Griffin is father of Effie and her mother is Philena Mullen. He is Leonard L. in the census records with wife Effie in 1920 & 1930 as well as parents in 1880.
I can't reconcile any records for Leonard I. Also the birth record for Leonard L. gives a birth date of 1 Aug 1875 so 1877 doesn't match. [Haven't found a death record].

Even on his WW I registration with wife Effie his name is listed as Leonard Lewis Wiley.

It would seem that the cemetery record is wrong!!??
By any chance in all the info the cemetery has do they have the name of the person that provided the info? Effie died before him.

I don't know how to reconcile all of this but certainly seems Leonard I. can't be right??

RE: Leonard Wiley
Ok, thanks. Can't verify if they are husband and wife until I verify what is the correct name for Leonard.

RE: Hattie H. (Milbourn) Clark
Thank you for turning it over to someone else. I did find in my mom's old holy cards her memorial card and it does say she was buried in the other cemetery. (Just another mystery of the crazy side of my family.)

Thank you for the note that you added regarding the two different gravestones in two different cemeteries. Your wording is professional and much better than what I had written you. Again, Thanks.
