|We have some family buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, MO, and Willamette National Cemetery, OR.|
I am also doing genealogy research for Read/Ring/Doty/Hampton/Milton/Blair/Briggs/Harp/Thompson/Campbell/Deakin/Brinstead/Anders for members of my immediate family.
When I find immediate members of my family, I am happy to visit here and find them and leave flowers or a stone. It means a lot to me to meet them, as it must you. Last year, I was taking photos as a volunteer and found grave related to a cousin of mine.
I would like to thank whoever is maintaining the grave sites and posted photos of the headstones of some of my relatives. In some cases, I live in another state, so may not be possible for me to aid in the maintenance, but have photos I will try to upload for their virtual memorials.
Thank you so much for this website.
If you see a photo or memorial that you would rather not have on the site, please also let me know and I'll remove it.
If you have extra info with an edit suggestion, please include a note via the edits or you can message me here. There is one bio I am currently drafting to clear up discrepancies, so sources appreciated or I may add to bio in parentheses if it needs to be verified. If you have contact info, I will try to explain what I am doing. Thanks! [Upd 29 Nov 2015]

Yes, the location is correct in Fairview Cemetery.
The Hazel Hampton I have listed I don't believe is your Hazel C. Her death cert has Hazel M. Hampton, married to Lewis T. Hampton, no parents named, age 21 yrs, 2 mo, 6 days (1898), and burial as Fairview Cem. Your Hazel was born abt 1912 Hazel C... Also Missouri Marriage records show Lewis T. Hampton married Hazel Norton on 28 Apr 1917. He was son of Daniel Hampton who is also buried in this same cemetery.
They are two separate Hazel women. I told the person who added the photo that I believed they added it to the wrong Hazel memorial, I don't know why they would have the name as Hazel Cleo Hampton if she had been married several times??, but think this Hazel M. I listed is not your Hazel, just the headstone pic maybe? Maybe they will delete it from here and check on it and add it to another memorial. Even if the maiden name Norton was wrong and it was her, no way could she have died in 1919 and been married if born 1912.
1920 Jasper Co, MO (the other Hazel was already dead in 1920)

Hello Teresa, just wondering what your relation to Catherine Fulks Schuyler is. She was my 4th great grandmother. I've got some information on her and if you have any we could swap. Thanks so much for leaving flowers for her.

I am so glad you found your family, glad I could help!

I have emailed the cemetery a couple of times (it gives the email address of the cemetery board's president as the contact), but have not received any type of response (Lee Mission Cemetery, Salem). Any suggestions?
|Dr.ETerry||John Stanley Peebles|
Thank you so very much for your feedback on John Stanley Peebles Find A Grave photo request. After hearing from one person, I emailed the cemetery at the listed contact information on their website, but never received a response. Yes, John Stanley Peebles 12/1/1903 - 1/30/1978 was born in Barkerville, British Columbia. He arrived in Detroit, MI 3/24/1924. He married wife #1, Mary Grace Kean, 8/19/1929. They had 3 children: Mary Ann, John and Pamela. After his first wife died, he married his second wife, Virginia, and they moved to Oregon. Virginia Peebles just passed away 10/8/2012. She is buried in City View Cemetery. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
It sounds like I should take the photo request down until I can determine where he is buried. Again, I appreciate you taking the time to check into this and to send me the note.

I am unable to connect her to her father as requested since I do not maintain the memorial. You will need to contact the person who maintains that memorial. John

Happy to transfer management of the Read family to you. Have made the corrections you suggested. Perhaps you have more to add??
|Harvey Pearson||RE: Find A Grave Correction: Delilah Blair|
If you haven't contacted Cora (McDonald)Query's Memorial creator don't worry about it.
It Took a little bit of studying on my part,butI used the linkage code and have now linked she & her brother Thomas Bert McDannald's Memorials to their mother Delilah Harmon Blair's Memorial.
|Harvey Pearson||Find A Grave Correction: Delilah Blair|
Would love to connect Delilah Blair's children to her Memorial,i.e.,Cora A McDonald Query,but I
can't as I am not Cora's Memorial manager.Since you are fairly new to Find A Grave I will tell you that the only person who can connect a child to a parent or a husband to a wife is the Individual who created the memorial.I have read elsewhere that the same can be done with HTML computer code if you aren't the Memorial holder,however,
since I'm not versed in its use I have never tried it.
