Bio and Links
Bio Photo I keep a record of burials in a local cemetery, in which I have 6 generations buried in. As genealogy has been my hobby for about 45 years, I have been interested in cemeteries and visited many.

Ruggles
Hi Sue,

I noted that you had information regarding possibly two of my "Ruggles" relatives buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.

There names are EF Ruggles who died in 1898 and Rosa Ruggles who died in 1895.

Rosa was also the name of my grandfather Albert's* mother; however, I don't know if Rosa was a child, or his mother???

*Albert Ruggles is the head of household in the 1900 census below.

Elizabeth, Albert's wife passed away, I think about 1900; however, I don't have any supporting data to confirm. She was 28 years old.

Note that per the 1900 census, Elizabeth had three children, 2 of which of living; therefore, one of those graves might be a child of Elizabeth. ???

ELIZABETH died in October 1900, a few months after the June 1900 census was taken.....where was she buried??? My grandfather was a railroad engineer; however, I think this family had limited means, so my guess is that they didn't ship Elizabeth's body back to Indiana. Well, she could be buried in some other cemetery around Gainesville, Texas....but ???

Here are records from the June 1900 Census:

Ruggles Albert J
Head: Born Oct 1871 in Switzerland

Ruggles Elizabeth C
Wife Born: Apr 1872 in Indiana

Ruggles Evalina
Daughter Born: May 1895 in Texas.

Ruggles Eugene F
Son Born July 1898 in Texas

Satzger Arvena
Niece Born: Sep 1890

I would greatly appreciate any help you might provide on those burials; or direct me to who I should contact.

Warmest regards,

James A. Ruggles

Looking for Susan Wedding
Hello. I am trying to locate Susan, daughter of M/Sgt Quinten and Margaret Wedding. My mother and Peggy were best friends at St Xavier's. My parents and Susan's parents were married in a double wedding in November of 1942. My parents (Kay and Gordon) are also deceased, and I recently found a stash of clippings and photos I would be happy to share. Please send me an email if you are interested.

I will see if I can correct it. If I can't figure it out can you tell me? If you need some help on the McCools I can do it. Just not sure what needs to be done. Do you give me access to change?
Brenda

I/m not sure what you mean or want.
The parents to the names listed are Lee Sterling Price McCool and Irene Josephine Spencer McCool.
I just figured if I selected the edit tab it would connect it to Lee Sterling Price McCool and Irene Josephine Spencer McCool.
Please let me know what you want.

William H. "Doc" Cobb
I am using a book compiled by Lester Cobb on William H. Cobb tree and related families published 1974.
My grandmother was Alma Mary Jane Cobb, born to William Lucas Madison "Babe" Cobb and Mary Rachel Armentie Stanley. His father was William H. Cobb known as "Doc".
Do you have any information regarding connection to Ambrose his father, or his mother?
I will be happy to share what information I have gathered.
Thank you for your dedication to genealogy.
