I am a mother of one and have always had a place in my heart for the old cemeteries. I have recently become involved in my family's genealogy (Jan of 2008) and am hooked. It makes me very happy to be able to fill a request for someone and I am always very thankful for the help of others I receive. If only everyone in the world could be as nice to each other as we are here in the genealogy world....Christmas shoppping would be so much more enjoyable!!!|

Sorry, got that death date wrong for Kate Maroney; at 1907 she would have only died a few years after Jim Green's wife Eliza. Still... Eliza is in an unmarked grave.

Do you have any idea why Mrs. Maroney is interred in the same (seeming) plot as Capt. Green? She was buried some 50 years later, so is this just a coincidence? My great-great-grandfather was Green's brother-in-law, and we are similarly puzzled that his wife Eliza Whidden, who died only some 20 years later, is buried elsewhere, but this Kate woman is right next to him :)

Thanks for transferring my Aunt Evelyn's memorial to me. I will up-date her information and share this with her sister. My mom cared for her sister during her illness until her death. They loved each other dearly.
Thanks for your work especially at Lily Cemetery. We have several family members in this cemetery. I remember many family gatherings for the funeral and burials of our family membersat Lily Cemetery.
