Mateo A. Morales
Hi! I am Mateo Morales mom and I saw that you had taken the photo of Sanders Cemetary in Orofino Idaho, that was added to my sons memorial. He has no headstone, but he will at the end of the summer.I live in California now and don't know when I can go back,so could you please take a pic. of his headstone this fall. Finally,my baby will have a headstone, and I can rest a little easier. Thank you so much!

I was wondering if you would transfer this memorial to me? My number is #47752032. These are my parents and I would really like to manage it. Thank you so much.

Chinese Tombstones at Normal Hill
Were you able to read, or find someone who could read the Chinese Markers in Division 3 that weren't in English ?

RE: Idaho State Hospital North
I just try to keep in mind that maybe it was financially impossible for the families to claim their deceased family member and have them buried elsewhere. At least at this cemetery, the burial was probably free. Also, many of the people buried there were originally from out of the country, and single, so they had no one to claim them anyway. I guess that makes me more determined to get them recognized in some way. There are probably many more burials there than I have records for, but I'll continue to work on it. I'll try to get the death certificates added soon. At least that way, I can fill in the rest of the information that I have on each person.

RE: Idaho State Hospital North
Hi Jan, I still have a lot of work to do, but I'll get to it eventually. I just wish they could clean up the turkey droppings. It saddens me that it is such a mess to visit such a beautiful and peaceful place. It is one of my favorite cemeteries to visit, but at the same time, it is one that makes me the saddest because of the lack of markers. I hope to fix that one of these days. Not sure what I'll do, or how I'll do it, but I'm going to work on it.
