I believe this is the grave of my Aunt Armenta Moore who died as a child prior to our family ancestors moving into Oklahoma, and then later into Texas which is my home.

I did have hopes that the stone had more information on it but am thrilled to have this photo.

Thank you not only for myself but for the entire Moore family which is trying to write our history.

Thank you very much for the picture of my great-grand mother. This is another piece of my Osteen ancestry that I can put in my ancestry book. It is nice to know that people like you Ken and Nancy are willing to help other people.

RE: David Cutshall, Jr. #71242128
I have done what I could do. There is still one child that needs to be unlinked by North Carolina Roots & I have sent her a message about it. I hate to delete the memorial since the death certificate says Sexton, but feel that the body was moved to GreeneLawn since there is no stone up there for him.

RE: David Cutshall, Jr. #71242128
This memorial definitely needs some work. I inherited memorials from BookGoddess (if you see her name under mine). I inherited about 20,000 of them and maintain them. Until someone makes me aware of a problem. At this time there is absolutely no getting to the Sexton Cemetery. It is up on top of a mountain on a dirt road. Lots of snow up there right now. I'll have to make a note and do some research on-line for now. This information was most likely taken from some paperwork down at the genealogical library in town where BookGoddess did a lot of her work. I have been up to the Sexton Cemetery and took photos of all readable stones. I still I need to go back and re-read one or two markers. There apparently was not a marker for this David Junior Cutshall up there or I would have taken the photo. So my question he really up there or did they move him to GreeneLawn?

Sorry for taking so long to respond to your message to me. I had surgery in January and have been out of the loop until now. I just saw this message today...the one where you said you searched the entire cemetary and couldn't find the tombstone.

I appreciate your trying to find it for me. I also appreciate all you do for those like me.

David Winningham/Civil Bend Cemetery
Hello ~
I spent two days out at the Civil Bend Cemetery and could not find a headstone for David Winningham. I did find one for Isacc Winningham (1849-1924) Though.
