I live in Winneshiek County, Iowa. If you are seeking information from this area I might be able to help you. |
I believe every stone has a story to tell! And that even the small pieces of information can help a lot. I do my best to help others because many people have helped me.
I own a gravestone cleaning business in Northeast Iowa. If you need help with a relatives stone - please contact me. All work done by hand and no harsh chemicals or pressure washers are used. Do it right or don't do it at all.

Maybe; his sister Sarepta was indentured at the same time as my relative Henry. I think Henry and Benjamin were cousins. Henry ended up in Iowa as well as Sarepta. He stayed with his indentured family as they traveled from New York to Iowa.
Henry's father Ezra and Benjamin's father George may have been brothers; children of Charles and Jeanettie Ellsworth. My brick wall is Ezra

No relation. As I find data on an American buried overseas, I post it in hopes a family member will take over the memorial.

Stacey, I photographed his marker earlier today. Without knowing his wife's name, I don't know if she's buried in the same cemetery or not. If she is, she is definitely not near him as the only other Simmons in that entire section are more likely his parents and they're across an access road from him.

|Jerry L. Lippincott||RE: Lippincott|
Dear fellow Find A Grave user - As you notice, yes, my name is Lippincott, but our branch is sort of a dead limb out on the perferifry (how do you spell that word?) (representing about 300+ other descendents) I can trace back to a John F Lippincott birth place uncertain and CAN NOT find his parents. He rests near Minerva/Hanover/East Rochester, Ohio. Danged if I can find his connection to the greater bulk of Lippincotts ! I have made pretty good connections upwards otherwise. (My dad is Harvey R Lippincott, Jr. resting at Central City, NE if you want to trace me backwards) One of my interests is just going through Lippincott burials nationwide and looking them up in some of the Census records and trying to make connections that might not be currently indicated.
If I have overstepped my bounds, I apologize. If there is anything I can help you on (Lippincott information wise), my # is (954) 830-5055
Best regards - Jerry (#47275474)

Thank you for the heads up on the marriage date of the McClaskeys; however, I only provided the bio and am not the Contributor responsible for editing the page. I wish I could help but you will need to contact the Memorial Page Contributor regarding the date correction. Thanks and I hope you had a great Memorial Day!
