Thanks for posting and connecting her to parents.
(I recently received an edit on her father with a photo of his grave.) changed his name from Bert to Burt.
Also on an interesting note: you state in Bio that she married Frank in Scranton, PA.
I have a daughter of a Deposit, NY Robinson resident, who married someone in Scranton, PA, whose Mother is a Robinson and I have been looking for a connection for years.. there must be one.
And this marriage of Hilda makes me wonder what she was doing there. you can email me any time.

Thanks for catching the duplication.

I will ask findagrave to merge the two, so none of the flowers or photos are lost.

Thanks Neil. I was surprised to see a request from you up in that area also. We go fishing up there a couple of times a year, and when it gets too windy to be on the lake, we take a few photos.

RE: Lake Ronkonkoma
That would be great. And I'm not concerned in the least about losing memorials. As long as they're correct and linked, and any information gathered is retained as well as any photos, I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Lake Ronkonkoma
Yes. They are one and the same. I had contacted the church to get some insight into the difference between the two when I started posting memorials for that cemetery. I was told that the land had originally been donated by "Farmer Gould", and the original land to the west of the church was the original cemetery. As they expanded, and the cemetery was no longer managed by the church, but rather by the village of Lake Ronkonkoma, they changed the name to the Lake Ronkonkoma Cemetery. I had tried at one point to get everyone (and I'm referring mostly to one lady who is in her 80's now who had created memorials for her family eons ago and is now over and done with it) to move them over to the Lake Ronkonkoma Cemetery, but so far, nothing has been done. They really should be merged as you're not the first person to be confused by it. Also, to make things even more confusing, there is now a second Lake Ronkonkoma Cemetery that lies north of the existing, also on Hawkins Avenue, near the Wrong Island Railroad.

Lake Ronkonkoma
A friend of mine that goes by user name Aislin may have created the listing for the 2nd cemetery and may have further information to clear up the confusion.

Lake Ronkonkoma
When I created the memorials for Lake Ronkonkoma Cemetery, it was from photos I took at the one located at Smith Street next to the United Methodist Church. I was made aware that there was some confusion but did not know of any other cemetery in LR. Apparently there is a "Lake Ronkonkoma Cemetery II" on Find-A-Grave (further south on Hawkins Avenue) and a few of the memorials that I created from obits were moved there by someone who solved the mystery.
