RE: J.H. New
Thanks for posting the article! Where did you find it? I have always wondered what happened to the poor man and if/how he was related to the other people who are buried at Pisgah.
If you are a relative, I would be glad to transfer his memorial to you.

Pam

S T :)
Well, maybe I should explain some of the edits submitted?
Wm C Henke 168332828
wife Maggie M Higgeson 168325124
One might think her name could be Higgenson or Higgerson, but the marriage record only has one letter between the g and the n, looks like e. So :) I have agreed with previous transcribers, and stuck with Higgeson as is.
= Some of their records say she was B Tennessee; some B Alabama, I haven't looked thoroughly enough to have an opinion.
= William has consistently throughout decades been born in Illinois. But the family was in Cullman County, Alabama, by 1880 :)
William is with parents in 1880 Census:
Fred and his wife are born in Germany.
Friedrick (Fred) & Dorothea (possible various sp )
Their children 1880 Census were:
Minna; William; Mary; Charles; John.

William C & Magge M's son George 168325267 is buried with his wife.

Anyway, marriage record gives m. dates for
Wm C & Maggie M Nov 1892;

marriage for
George (their son) & Martha C Schaeffel July 1939

William's records extend from 1880 to include
1910; 1920; 1930; 1940 +

Dora is also William and Maggie's dau, if I missed editing her :/ 68095963
getting kind of tired :)

Take Care
No response needed, of course you are welcome to! But just wanted to let you know how / why I came up with some of the data and relationships.

Best Wishes

Cleveland Henson
Thank you so much for trying to locate the stone for Cleveland. Gary's mom was a Henson so this is extra special to him but the Henson family is a big mystery also. Thanks again. Linda Maret

Hadder cemetery
Can't find what I was looking for. Beginning to think I was trying to put a story together and stopped. What I do know is that in the 1880 census of Winston Co. AL, there is a John Hadder, Vintia Snead, and John H Newman in the same household. Vintia was ? having an affair with a J. Solomon BRUMBELOW. Thus the reason I was trying to ID this Solomon BRUMBELOW in the cemetery to see if she was connected with this Solomon instead. The census has other Newman's in the house... ? John Newman's mom, Eveline, was the Hadder's daughter, and Vintia was a cousin. Thanks for the extra work...lol. But now I'm thinking everyone has had Divinity with the wrong Solomon BRUMBELOW the other was a cousin.
Thanks for your time.

RE: Hadder Cemetery
I have not looked at the pics yet, but will later tonight. The cemetery is named after some family. I will try to look up the information I saw about this cemetery. Thanks again.

RE: Solomon Brumbelow
Thank You so very much for your help. I am working on this family name for my mom. There appeared to be 2 Solomon Brumbeloe/BRUMBELOW born about the same time. Wanted to make sure I had my dates and name spelling correct. There are about 10 ways to spell this name and still be connected. Again thanks for you time and hard work. Some of these old stones will not last much longer. Need to take pics while we can. If you need anything in the Marshall Co. area let me know.
