I feel like I have been doing this for a long time now. Thirteen years. Feel free to send me corrections or additions and also feel free to use photos I take or submit. It is nice to be credited for photos as I have put a lot of work into them.|
When you want to send me a message a little courtesy is nice instead of people writing rudely or demanding something.
If you are related to a memorial I have do not be afraid to ask for a transfer if they are not related to me I am more than happy to do so. I do not follow guidelines for FAG as far as transferring just tell me your relation.
Recently I have begun trying to put link in my family tree all of the ancestors here on FAG but it is difficult in some cases as there have been a few who are not listed as their final resting places have never been found. One is believed to be under the waters of a resevoir built in the 1930's so I created one as unknown which I usually would not do but it is the only way to link them. Another has been searched for by myself and a previous researcher for over 50 years with no luck so I also added him. as unknown for linking purposes. Some people will not link but in these I have added the number next to the child so they are known to exist.

|Katherine White||RE: Hi Katherine|
You know what it is?... There's an online list for the old Crittenden Rural that contains all of the incorrect names. That's how I spotted it. The list is so wrong, I wish it could be either corrected or plain old taken down :(
It's okay; don't feel "bad". I found someone the other day who set up the same memorial with no dates for the same person in five different cemeteries across NYS including one in Crittenden Rural. I sent them a nice note :) Kathi

Is it possible to remove the photo added to memorial #72440760. The photo belongs to Mary Crawford, not to the Schaller child. Thank you!

1835-1856 is buried here, are there anymore of her family members buried here? What historical society would I call that surrounds this cemetery? Stephanie 607 217 7240 or email@example.com Caroline is my great, great grandmothers sister
As always Mark, many thanks for all the memorials I keep finding that you created and photographed! Very much appreciated! RC

|Robert Dunford||David John Culligan (#109549866)|
I just wanted to share some mystifying information with you concerning this memorial.
There is a Find A Grave memorial for a David John Culligan at #27707198 based on an online death notice. The only difference is the year of death -2008 vs your 2006.
I was going to create a memorial for John based on a photo I took at Acacia Park Cemetery (also known as Resthaven Cemetery) where the identical dates that appear in the death notice are inscribed on a monument there. His name is on the left side while Christine E (Jan. 3, 1951 to unknown) is on the right. Although John's death notice does not mention a wife, I suspect Christine was. On the opposite side of the monument is the family name Zurek, with three names: Jerome R. (1918-1998); Jean R. (1925-2014); & Joann R. (1949-unknown). Jerome's death notice mentions daughters JoAnn R. Zurek and Christine Culligan. A further complication is that Jerome has a Find A Grave memorial in United German & French Cemetery. Perhaps the monument I found is a cenotaph?
If you would like any of this information or photos let me know and I can send them to you. For me, I am going to set things aside since they are not family.

At the St. Patrick's Cem in Crittenden, NY you have the above as the children of Florian and Josephine Richley. They are, in fact, the daughters of Clement and Harriet Richley.
They were in my husband's family...
Please correct and thank you for the lovely photos.

|Bryan Anderson||Audie Earl Johnson|
I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, Audie Earl Johnson was a member of this unit. This is confirmed by his gravestone. My grandfather's name was Gunder Anderson.
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. So, with your permission, I would like to use your photograph of the grave of Audie Earl Johnson (Find A Grave Memorial# 41754109). Please let me know if this would be acceptable.
Thank you, I appreciate your time.
With warm regards,
