|Paula Evans||Albert Kanis's parents buried there?|
Hi, I have a question for you. My Grandpa Albert Kanis 144837102 - is ones of my grandpas on Mom's side of our family who is buried there in at our Bluff City Cemetery. His parents (my other grandparents) are: 1. Johann Gottleib Kanis or Kanies 1822 - ? and his wife: 2. Henriettea or Henriette Kanis or Kanies - 1817 or 1828 - ?. Are they both are buried somewhere there, too? I still can't find any infos of the years of deaths or places of death anywhere atall for some reason. So, I'm really not sure if they are buried in our Bluff City Cemetery too or not.Yep, Bluff City Cemetery office have lists of names of everybody on their records that are buried there. So yep, it is okay to please feel free to find out from the office there which would be alot easier for you. Thank-you.

I had done a Find A Grave search for all McBrides buried in both Illinois and California for Edna, Henry and young Henry and found nothing on any of them.
Either they are buried in a cemetery not on the Find A Grave site or they were perhaps cremated.
That information may be one of those genealogy questions that is never to be answered.
Thank you for sharing the information that you have found.

Edna was once married to my great uncle Vernon Hill.
If you go on Ancestry.com under Edna's name you can find a record of their marriage in Illinois County Marriages. The date shown is November 1, 1922 in Kane County. She was 36 years old at the time.
I hadn't found the record of her marriage to McBride. Would Vernon have been her first marriage or her second?
Do you happen to know when she passed away and where she was buried ?
She was a member of DAR and Ancestry also has a record of her lineage (on her mother's side) back to Zachariah Padelford who was a soldier in the Revolutionary War

Do you have any information on the Gifford's daughter Edna May? She was born in about 1886 and was married, to and divorced from, a man by the last name of Hill.

Dear Mr. Gifford:
None of your photos are visible to me. I am interested in the photo of David Babbitt in Algonquin Cemetery in particular.
Is there a remedy for this?

Hello, I saw you posted a picture of the sign for the Algonquin Cemetery and I am planning to visit it soon. My problem is, I can't seem to find it's address. Would you be able to tell me where it is located?
