Stephen Farnell Born in Halifax West Yorkshire.|
I have done research on my family tree and now share the experience with those who may be interested. I have added a number of graves to Find A Grave which may help others in the future. My family roots stem from the Farnell family and the Attwood family and my wife's from the Ward and Soakell family and the families therefore attached to these. My interests also are of the Military, as I'm an ex-service man myself. Should I come across a Military grave not on Find A Grave I will add it for the interest of others. It is not my intention to offend anyone but to preserve the memories of our fallen and the resting place of the dead.
Weather and the elements, and vandalism can cause loss of graves and monuments and so lost for ever. Here at least they are preserved for the viewing of anyone interested.
I can be contacted by email at.
Any queries on living people are private and should be respected as such.
Any queries on the deaths or burials of my additions I will try to help.

You have the above buried at Christ Church, Fulwood, Preston. On trying to fulfil a photo request I found this church has no burials. On returning home I checked CWGC records and find his marker is at Christ Church, Fulwood, SHEFFIELD, please amend accordingly.

Hi Stephen. I used the CWGC Grave for Sapper J Archer on his memorial page for Nuneaton and North Warks Family History Society. He was one of three brothers killed in WW1 and all had some connection to Rotherham as well as Kingsbury, North Warks. Here is a link to his page.
Thank you for taking the time to publish the photo's.

The edits make it Amelia's file, as the dates I submitted are believed to be the best data we have, the picture though belongs to Oswald, therefore if you could add the stone to his profile I created, we are now corrected.. Gracias.. Changed back to Amelia :) Season's Greetings.

The stone states Oswald's death, not Amelia's. Do you have further info on her whereabouts? I found this.. http://barnsleyhistorian.blogspot.ca/2014/07/world-war-one-soldiers-story-crossland.html .. Added Oswald based on the information as well as edits.. Merry Christmas. Barraclough is family name, so very interested in any & ALL.

Good morning Steve, I have just been looking at the findagrave site for Clive Whittingham, having just been to St Saviours in Bitterne, and you appear to have an incorrect CWGC photo on his entry ..... can you delete it or reposition it to its rightfull home ... thanks and regards ... Peter Hammett
that was a fast response! Thank you
I will try sending the message to the other manager
