I welcome corrections, updates, links, and additional information on my memorials. |
Thanks to the photographers who go out in the cold and heat to get photographs of stones for us all. Findagrave couldn't exist without the 'boots on the ground' folks.
The lines I look for are Worsham and Moody on my mother's side, O'Quinn, Summers, Rentz and Kinard on my father's side.
I have added some grave photos. They aren't the best; please let me know if you have a better photo to post and I will gladly delete mine.

I often find this type situation, where families have moved away or simply died out and no one care for the burial plots. since she never married and lived her last days with her sister and brother in law, who are also deceased, it does not appear anyone takes care of the burial plots.
Always willing to go the extra mile. I love a challenge !

Photos posted today, and linked her to parents and siblings.
Thanks for your patience and the kind note.

So far as I know, Mrs. Odom did not have a middle name. The "J" is for Johnson--her maiden name. I have both her death certificate and a copy of her obituary, and neither lists a middle name.

You're welcome. She was my great-great aunt. Can her names be added?

I have requested edits on all of my family members who have initials on their tombstones. I have put their names in these edits. You are the one with almost all of their memorials. Thank you for what you do. Beverly Mathis Ingram

Anna, my name is Beverly Mathis Ingram and I was looking on Find a grave, new at this. Anyway William Norcum Mathis is my grandfather, and his wife Katie Gertrude White Mathis. I noticed that all their children were not listed on their page, and I think they should be. They are all at the same cemetary, but not connected to their parents. James Oliver Mathis born 1901, Lucille Mathis Parks born 1904, Theo Edward Mathis born 1908, Mortimer Mathis born 1911, William Willard (Buster) Mathis (my dad) born 1913, and Helen Cornelia Mathis born 1917. They are all at the Sumter Cemetary in Sumter South Carolina.
