Bio and Links
Bio Photo In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. After working on the memorials of my immediate LYLE family members, I started looking for the graves of my mother's family and then extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. This is a very rewarding way to fill in some of those extra hours I now have as a retired person.
Finally, I want to acknowledge and give credit to my brother, Thomas Edward 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Jean Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

RE: Harriett Ann Forrester Rakestraw
It was my pleasure to photograph Ms Rakestraw's headstone. The stone is a little weathered but still looks well.
I hope you have an enjoyable Easter.

Joel Anderson Haden
I noticed that you entered a death certificate for Joel Anderson Haden who is located at Rosehill Cemetery in Macon. Are you of any relation? He is my g-g-grandfather

pelkman/stack
my brother found the pelkman/stack wedding certificate which states marriage in 1921 so keep it as is. don't know why she wrote 1922 unless it was an anniversary photo.

my maternal side all from north Evanston. all went to Evanston high school. surnames Schreiber, stordeur, nelson. any familiar????? I live 10 minutes away from Joliet so I extend the same coutesty to you...if you need anything from around northern Illinois let me know. I will look into my tree to see if I need anything from Georgia. I found that the Houstons received their land in Georgia from being in the revolutionary war. I will probably have to take a trip down there.cathie

RE: 154789016/154788667
small world we live in. some of my family is in st.joes also. I grew up in Evanston, il so I know Wilmette very well. would be really small if our families knew each other. carl pelkman (maggies first) was adopted by my 3x great grandfather stordeur in Germany. so Maggie is not a blood line but I have a few pictures of that family so I was interested in the history.

no I am not related to carl pelkman or the stack family. I found their pictures in my grandmothers photo album and want to give them to any decendents. as for the wedding date of pelkmann and stack you have 1921 but on the back of picture someone wrote 1922. I cannot confirm which is right so leave it as is.
thanks cathie
