I'm confused.. If you're thinking i'm picking on you or something.. Realize that I have over 260 items in my 'duplicates' folder right now that i'm slowly addressing.. You just happen to be getting alot due to chance or because you did alot in a specific cemetery that i'm going over now.
Now, occasionally I do send notification of dupes twice.. Something of a hiccup in my process. If I notice a dupe while walking, I flag it and then send a notice.. I then will tag it when I come across that grave(which may not be the same day and/or week), and have noticed a few times where I have sent a notification the first AND second times.. Try not to do that, but.. It has happened a couple of times recently. I'm not resending it because it hasn't been addressed or anything.
If this is about pre-needs memorials.. Yeah.. Rules is rules, parts is parts and dogs love cheese. Doesn't bother me.. I'm happy to update those. Just remember.. Those officially are not valid and memorials created after death are the 'winners'.
Duplicates.. If you can deal with them.. Great.. If not, after 30-ish days, they get sent in to edit. It's perfectly acceptable to not want to delete your memorial because it is sponsored, or because it has photos that aren't yours that you don't want to move (Takes credit away from whoever did it originally) or because there are flowers on your memorial.. the merge process will move all that, while a delete won't. I understand that.
so.. Long and short.. I have no idea what we're talking about.. But.. Hopefully one of the answers above covers it?

You wrote: "If having a headstone of a person that's still living bothers u so , U could have requested I delete it. Some people don't mine ,some do . I post only because its on the same headstone" I don't mind at all if you have a page for my cousin. I just wanted to write on there that he was still living in case someone stumbled upon your page and wondered when he died. I wasn't asking you to delete it nor was I as bothered by it.

Can you please add Kenneth Allen Center 109527238 to his dad Kenneth David Center 10538932?

Don't be concerned over it. It happens. I've done the same, but thankfully have caught it right away. I probably have the simpler job of following up on most of these cemeteries and being able to focus on things that aren't right.

We don't want to loose any information. If they are both yours, then it's easy, you're call. If the original one isn't yours, then you need to forward or send in edits or post photos to the memorial that was created first, before removing the duplicate.
Hope that helps. Last resort, is you can email Find A Grave at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask them to combine the memorials. They will do what's right.
Thank you for the good photos.

Good morning Pat! I really would like to keep the memorial you created because some people will remember her being there but what about having two different memorial numbers? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to cause this trouble!!! I'm going to delete my memorial and request a transfer from your original one. That way you still get the credit you are due! :)
