Added your suggested update. Would you like this memorial transferred to you?

RE: Bown
Hello, again...

I have Thomas Samuel Bown's parents as William and Elizabeth (Vinson) Bown. Thomas Samuel's wife, should be Florence Eliza Ellen (Haire) Bown. Her parents were Alexander and Susannah (Weston) Haire.

Will try and look into this further. With the first name being different and the birth year off by two years, maybe there's more than one person with a similar name.

RE: Bown
Those were Thomas's parents. However, what you have for Eliza Ellen parents differs from what I have. Is there a way to check that? Thanks for your quick response and help!

Bown family Cape Breton
Hello. Saw your posting for Eliza Ellen Bown buried at St. George Cemetery Cape Breton. Was wondering if she is husband of Thomas Samuel? Not sure I have the same parents that you do. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Thank You So Much for clearing up the duplicate and sending me his parents names. I'm hunting for information for his parents now.

RE: cedar grove
I happened to be coming out of Boston this afternoon so I swung by cedar grove again, I did locate Charles and Eliza's grave and looked all around and saw no other Bown's, Bowes's, or Brown's. Is Charles grave Range E or Range D? Just curious cause I thought I had there marking system figured out.

RE: cedar grove.
Hi Mary, looked at the photo on Charles memorial and it looks to be in the same area (Oak Hill) but looks to be further in than range E, I would guess that's between range H and J. Let me know what you can find out and I'll make it back over there eventually. On a side note I told you I would stop in the office for New Calvery and inquire about Daniel Doherty's burial location, well I did and got nothing but attitude from one of the woman who works there so I would suggest if you get a chance, to give them a call or email them with your request. Have a good night, Rick

Bown Cedar Grove
Hi Mary, ran over to Cedar Grove this morning and unfortunately there was no headstone on Oak Hill Range E grave 41, there was a very weathered and difficult to read stone on grave 40 and best I can tell the name is Browne, of Halifax N.S. born in Portsmouth England died in Boston Mass in 1879, any relation?

RE: Doherty
My pleasure Mary, sorry there was no headstone there, I won't take a picture of no headstone unless I have at least 2 location markers in close proximity to prove it, I will get over to cedar grove sometime next week, have a good night
