My Daddy took this picture and named it "Home made hair cut". My brother, who was 2 years older than me, had just given me the new hair style. When Daddy asked me what happened I told him but I also assured him that I said "Thank you" when my brother had finished.|
I do research on several family names: Pack, Preston, Wheeler, Ward, Scott, Smith, also on my husband's side: Clemmons, Edrington, Kessler, Marshall, Heilman, Duvall, Stickley.

Linda, this is a genealogy question, not a findagrave question. I am a descendant of Thomas Houston Pack b. 1825 in MO, and I have a DNA match with a descendant of John Wesley Pack b. 1854 in KY. Do you know how those connect?

I understand your list is Shelby County only. If I come across one of my family members that I think may be buried in Shelby county I will let you know.
I Really do appreciate you offering to help me find

Most of my family are from Kentucky.
Shelby, Green, Taylor counties are some that
I know about. My half brother had a large dairy
farm near Shelbyville and I visited with him
for 2 weeks back in the late 1950's. I have found
most of my Cowherd family buried in Grove Hill,
Simpsonville Cemetery and Bagdad cemetery.
The graves that I need to locate are on private
property where they were buried on their farms.
I know of Cowherd Family cemeteries near Bengal
in Taylor County near Greensburg in Green County.
If you know of any more please let me know.
I appreciate you offering to help me locate the
burials of my family. Let me go through my list to
see who I need to find.
Thank you so much,
John Lewis Cowherd Jr.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy
schedule to take this photo. I have so many of my
family members buried in Kentucky. Some are buried
in family cemeteries in Bengal, Shelbyville, Greensburg and Campbellsville. These are cemeteries
that were started on their home places. I'm sure
that there are records somewhere that will help me
locate these burial sites. I have the family members
names that owned the farms.

THANK YOU for pursuing this gravesite in such a remote place. Awesome! He would have been an older brother of my McCormick ancestor. We had always heard that Alexander drowned while crossing a creek, but it's amazing to actually see the site, and the creek in the background. Thanks again for all your efforts in the pursuit, and please thank the landowner as well!
