|Bio and Links|
We try to photograph entire cemeteries. Often when on vacation we will photograph, therefore you may see our photos have been taken in many different areas of the the country.|
No info from census, others trees, cause of death, or negative reports about their life and circumstances which are disrespectful. Bios should reflect the positive aspects of life. It is a memorial after all
Under no circumstances do we link to burial unknown, link to duplicates, or allow our photos to be added to duplicates. Any use of our photos on other memorials on Find A Grave will be reported to administration.
Transfers are generally per Find A Grave guidelines. There are always exceptions within reason. No mass transfers.
Please use the edit function on the memorials, for links, dates etc. Edits/requests on the message board will be ignored.
We may ask for documentation, don't take it personally, but with so many sending edits we try to stay as accurate as possible.
I borrowed this from another member, and I could not have stated it better. " The first memorial created in the correct cemetery (NOT as a burial unknown memorial) is the permanent memorial. Date of creation is not considered when comparing a memorial created correctly, in a verified cemetery, and one created as "burial unknown.
**When notified FAG will always remove/merge a burial unknown moved into a cemetery where a grave has been verified. "
Military rank , when to use.... The answer is that one who doesn't retire doesn't continue to use the rank as part of their name. Use of rank as part of one's name is reserved for those who serve until retirement.
I love a clean edit box, I can't help my self. It is the one and only tidy part of life, my edits on F.A.G.:) All edits left on the message board will be ignored.

I'm sorry. I spoke before I thought: forgot that I was not managing the page, just providing the photo.

To let you know - I sent edits to link her first husband and all of her children's graves to your memorial after deleting mine. I will follow through to be sure all my edits were accepted by those creators.
Thank you again for posting the photos of her grave stones.

You're most welcome. I was happy to find it for you. Would you like to manage the page?

Find A Grave Memorial# 50112318
You were kind enough to add a photo to the above memorial, however the closeup of the marker is for James Tanner's 2nd wife, Amy, rather than for Lodema. In the picture showing the large stone and the three small markers, Lodema's is the one in the middle, by blowing up that picture I can just read it. If you have a closeup of the middle stone, it would be nice to add it, but I understand that you take many pictures and it may be lost. In that case, the best course would be to delete the closeup of Amy's marker, and I'll request another.
I am not related except by marriage, a child of James and Lodema married a distant relative, and by coincidence, a child of James and Amy is buried in a cemetery I'm working on. Thanks again.
I believe the information you sent me was correct. The date I had on the memorial was the burial date. I updated the memorial. Thanks!

Forgive me for being so slow in thanking you for the photos that you took and uploaded to the memorial pages for the Jacobs Family in Fountain Cemetery. Thank you! I am very grateful for the photos, your time and thoughtfulness to do that genealogy task freely, for not only me, but for all that visit the memorial pages.
Thank you for catching that, I deleted mine. Cindy

Thanks for adding a headstone pic to my Aunt's memorial page. I appreciate it.

I thought I was on Sarah's page- she is listed as sister but is actually his wife- see stone. I can re-submit the change if you would like.
