Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started researching my family history after my mother passed away in 2011. Fortunately for me she had everything written down so it gave me a good head start. My wife did not have much on her family so I started looking to see how much I could find on her family.
I found out early on the only way to do this was to walk the entire cemetery and try to link each person back. Doing it this way I was able to find relatives that I wouldn't have been able find otherwise. Family plots give a lot of clues about the family that are not obvious otherwise.
I am happy to add any family information since it makes it easier for others to find the memorial, any bio information should be written so it can be copied over. Please use the edit tab and the Suggest a correction link when sending information or requesting a transfer, it makes it easier and reduces the chance of an error. If you are looking for a response to any questions, please provide an email address.

Any gravestone pictures I've posted may be used for non-commercial use, family trees, Ancestry, etc. Credit should be noted with the picture.

Please do not post death certificates to my memorials, rather enter the transcribed information through the edit tab. If I wanted the death certificate on the memorial, I would have put it there myself.

Current Project:
I have come across a number of books from the Lutheran Church spanning about 50 years. These books have a number of obituaries and bio's that I am currently going through and posting so the information will not be lost. Those memorials can be found here.

RE: Florence Schoeneberger
Respectfully, I believe the maiden name of Florence Schoeneberger is Cunningham and her parents were William J Cunningham and Susan Sabina Louisa Trankley.

Florence M Cunningham and Florence M Loper are 2 distinctly different people. They each have their own death certificate. They were born in different parts of PA, clear across the state of PA. Their birth years are somewhat close (1877 and 1883, respectively) but the date they died is significantly different (1915 and 1962, respectively).

The oddity is the marriage license (20 Nov 1912) and certificate (23 Nov 1912). I believe Thomas Daniel Schoeneberger had incorrect information or lied. How he wouldn't know the maiden name of his fiancee is beyond me, but all the information, besides bride's last name and name of bride's parents, matches that of Florence M Cunningham.

Florence Cunningham, her parents, and her husband, Thomas Daniel Schoeneberger, are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Lehigh County (EAST part of PA). Her death certificate shows she died in 1962... the same date as on the gravestone. It also shows her parents as Cunningham and Trankley and it shows her birth year as 1883, again matching the gravestone.

Florence Loper's father was married previously to Mary Elizabeth Turner. Her name was Susan. Susan died in 1867, 10 years before Florence Loper was born in 1877. The Lopers are all from Crawford County (northWEST part of PA). The parents (Abram, Susan, Mary) are buried in Crawford County. Florence Loper's husband, Herbert Fisher is buried in Allegheny County (southWEST part of PA). I was unable to find the grave of Florence M Fisher (nee Loper).

Blue skies,

RE: Grazer, Joseph, Anna & Peter
Thanks for your response...I originally didn't know the burial location and just recently corrected the profiles to include that information.

RE: Rev John Gutleben
Yes its true that most/all places of worship have many books that are a valuable resource for family research. thanks for caring enough to grab them to work. BJ

Rev John Gutleben
Joe, thanks for the edit for John. Is he part of that extended family you are researching? Always the goal to unite family somehow. BJ

RE: Kenneth F Kramer
Hi Joe,

I don't really understand your message, but, perhaps you can see something on your end that I can't see.

That said, Yes, Edwin and Laura are the parents, and Willard was Kenneth's twin brother.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for all your work Joe, My family is part of both the Holy Trinity and the St. Andrews Church/Cemeteries group. You seem to have a lot of info about these communities. Is there a way I can contact you? Or leave me a message on this website. Thanks

Thank you so much for adding the photo of my g-grandfathers tombstone. I had no idea he was buried separately from my g-grandmother. I don't think I would have realized it if you hadn't posted it. The Catholic Church is not very helpful when it comes to genealogy as I found out after many calls to get info about my ancestors burial plots. Thanks so much!

Baby Marchesin
I received an email regarding this individual, saying "The general problem they reported is:
I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave".
I have added the image from Ancestry of baby Marchesins PA Death Certificate.
At the bottom, the Place of Burial....shows Holy Sepulchre, also an address of 446 Ridge.
Could I have listed the incorrect cemetery?
I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.

Sacred Heart Cemetery
Thank you for your excellent work to document Sacred Heart and the adjoining cemeteries in Fullerton. The photos are great, and the additional source facts makes your work the gold standard for Find-a-Grave.
I can't thank you enough for tackling and completing these cemeteries, along with St Mary's, St Lawrence, Allen, Fairview and all the others you've done. Remarkable efforts!
