RE: Florida Emaline Keith Byers
On second thought, keep Florida (Keith) Byers middle name spelled "Emeline". I've seen it spelled both ways. However, after your response I went trolling through some family files and I think her middle name is "Emeline", not "Emaline". Thanks for taking the time to do this!

I actually have Lula mothers .. Phenie Cobb's obit and she passed away in Modesto county California.... I have contacted the funeral home and will know what cemetery shortly! Genealogy is so fun but so time consuming...

All I know so far about Lula father is from the book Phenie' s World .... and in that. Ok he passed away from typhoid fever while taking medicine to a nearby town! Will let you know when this is verified

I know a little bit about Lula Cobb... I recently found out about the train robbery as well! Her parents were Phenie Holmes Cobb and John Cobb. There is a book written about her parents called Phenies World. It was written by Phenie Cobbs granddaughter, MJ Cobb Young. If there is more your u would like to know please let me know.

RE: Jimmy Wayne Daniel
His mother married Phillip Rice Whitcher, who would have been my 6th cousin. So, while I am not directly related to him, we do share family! Also, someone had entered him originally as Jack Daniel, with a lengthy obituary and a photo. In theory, at some point the Findagrave administrators would merge the two memorials, and all the information would be together, gravestone photo, photo, and obituary. I added the Jack as that was how the original entry had been done, hoping that would facilitate the merger eventually.

My Grandmother
Hi Donnie,

I can't thank you enough in posting the photo of my grandmother's grave. I did not know much about her. She died when my mother was 6. Mama died in 1992 at age 92, so decades went past since her mother died, and I regretted not getting more information about my grandmother before my mama passed away. Today when I found her grave, thanks to your dedication to taking the photos, I was so happy and for once felt a connection to a grandmother who I never had the honor of knowing. You are my new hero! My next step will be to visit my ancestor's graves as well as my grandmother's resting place. I am for once feeling connected to a family that was long forgotten. Thank you so much for making this possible.
