Your tombstone stands among the rest;|
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
~ Walter Butler Palmer (1906)
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.
Families we are researching: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk/Falck, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many others.
Also a focus on our American veterans. We have virtual cemeteries for the 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the American Civil War, and one for each war the Buckmasters have fought in.

I went to Jerry City Cemetery today. I looked for Sarah's grave without any luck. I'm willing to help with this. Is there any other info that you can share? I seen and took pictures of the Loes that I seen. Would her grave be near any other Loes. I spoke with an employee at the cemetery; he told me a fire in 1930 destroyed most older records. I presume she's buried in the old section? There are many sandstone markers that the writing has faded. Maybe this is Sarah's case. Any additional info would help. I'm willing to take photos in North West Ohio. Connie
|John Budreau||Ezra Brandyberry|
Hello again! You have Ezra listed in a virtual cemetery with other Brandyberry's. Do you know the names of any of his family? I have been trying to find who his parents and siblings are but I am not having any luck.
|John Budreau||Lawrence McCune|
Hello! I saw that you have a record of Lawrence in the Crawford cemetery in Berne, In. The person in charge of the cemetery stated that he is not there. He is listed in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill. His findagrave number is 22919998. Thanks!

I am with the Caldwell co Historical Soc. and I check on the small unused cemeteries and listings in the county. I noticed you put up a memorial for Azel E. Craven in Prairie Ridge Cem. I know his parents are buried there, but Azel is buried in Cottage Grove Cem. East of Polo, if you would check mem # 10603359 you will see his gravestone picture, he is buried next to Allen and Laura Craven which are probably his grandparents. Thanks for your cooperation jdv

Oops, 1817 is correct
|Nancy Johnson||Mary Edgington Viers, FAG # 28144291|
Mary's headstone is unclear, and her memorial states she was born in 1783, but she was married (documents) in 1791, so would you please take another photo or view her headstone again? Thank you very much! Nancy
