Stanley W. Burkey
Lundy family in Lancaster Co. PA
Hi Betty Anne Lundy Tshudi,

My name is Stanley Walter Burkey. I have for many years been doing family research on the Berkeyheiser family of Chester and Lancaster Counties. My fatherís mother was Mary Frances Berkeyheiser, and her father was Daniel Miller Berkeyheiser.

One of his aunts was Nancy (Ann) Berkeyheiser (1808->1870) who married Daniel Lundy (1806-<1860) on 4 Aug 1831 by Rev. J.W. Richards at New Holland Evangelical Lutheran Church. Their burial site is unknown, possibly Mt. Zion UM Cemetery, Narvon, PA.

Ann and Daniel had 5 children that we know of:

1) George W. Lunday (1839-1896) who married Martha A. msn unknown (1839-1896). One known child, Mary S. Lunday. George & Martha are buried in Georgetown Methodist Church, Lancaster Co. PA

2) Elizabeth Rebecca Lundy (1842-1913) who married Solomon Marshall (1832-1913) in 1863. They had 6 children together who produced hundreds of descendants, mostly named Fryberger. Both buried in Mt. Airy E.C. Cemetery

3) Eleazar Lundy (1843-????). never married. Burial site unknown

4) William Lundy (1848-1919) never married; buried in Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, South Coatesville

5) Sarah Ann Lundy (1850-1926) married Henry H. Englerth (1851-1930). Both buried in St. Johnís Episcopal Cemetery, Compass, PA.

My question is: Are these Lundys related to your Mountain City, TN Lundys? I havenít yet been able to identify Daniel Lundyís parents. Can you help?

Lundy fami;y
I was wondering if anyone knows much about Edwin Hurst Lundy's ancestors?
His father was Edward J. Lundy, 1868-1921.
His grand father was Thomas P. Lundy, 1840-1913.
His great-grandfather was Joseph Lundy, 1809-1881.
I have a lot of information about these folks.
I was especially interested in Joseph Lundy. He was probably the brother of Eleazar Lundy, 1808? to 1854? Eleazar is my 3rd great grandfather. Does anyone know the parents of Joseph or Eleazar Lundy?

Thank you a hundred times! I just saw the picture you took of my grandfathers headstone and you went the extra effort to put his exact spot for future generations!
You are truly, truly appreciated!

Thank you!

Thanks so much for your efforts. I have made a note on his memorial that "no extant gravestone has been found".
