I am 61 years old, and my Lindsey side of the family survived well into my adulthood, but the Dobson side died by the time my mother was 13. She told stories of her childhood, but she was 7 when her youngest sibling, brother, was born and Her mother dies from infection 2 weeks after he was born. Her memory has lapses in the early part of her youth, and I am trying to get more information about the Dobson side of my family. Mildred Manelda Smith married William Foster Dobson, but that is all the information I can get from this, or any other site. I can't afford to join those pay sites, so am hoping for help from you people. Some Smiths from the Kansas-Oklahoma border recently got together with some of my family, but I can't get much information about that reunion. I seem to be the only one in my family who is interested in this genealogy stuff.|

I am trying to find the grave of my great uncle Oliver Kay Ferguson who died at the State Hospital in this area in 1944. Many times he was just called K. Ferguson. He was born in 1888 and does have a death certificate. Some have said that he is buried in Big Spring, others have said that he is buried in McClennon County and some say Howard county. I am not finding him on Find A Grave in any of those places. Do you have any ideas for me, please? His Father was James Edward Ferguson who is buried in Mason Co. TX. His wife was Selma Baker.

Thank you soooo much for the photo of Alpha B. Dement's grave site. She is my grandmother and the pictures are great!

Jimmy, Thank you very much for taking the time to take the photo for Jake & Mary Chaney. They were simple people, but good people. They would as I do appreciate what you did. Most people only think about themselves, but you took the time to do something for someone else.
