Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find-A-Grave is such a wonderful website and gives a lot of great information to family genealogists. I came from a family of nine children and have lots of nieces and nephews. I have been my family's record keeper since I was a very young girl and have loved meeting new relatives, especially cousins, cousins, and more cousins. It's also fun to be able to add new descendants of my parents to my family tree...which happens quite often. Many new babies are born every year. The family tree continues to grow and grow and bears much fruit. Aside from obtaining family information, this website allows us to give a living memorial to honor our family members who are no longer with us. This is an awesome website. Thank you Find-A-Grave.

Elic Studdard

After much research, I finally figured it out! It IS Alexander Studdard, not Elic. He went by Alec. All the records for him, from census down to his draft cards, have Alexander. Alec is even in the book on the history of baxter County. Just thought I'd let you know. It's been a couple years since we last spoke. I moved and had to put my research on hold. I had a baby last summer, a month before grandma passed away so it's been a slow start getting back in to it all. Hope you are doing well. ❤️

Smith connection
Hi Mary,

My grandfathers brother, Richard Valentine Smith, was married to Jamima P. Falwell. Her marker # is 94762979. You posted a note of history from one of her grandaughters on her memorial page.

Dear Mrs. Henderson,

My grandfather,John Wesley Smith, was the brother of Richard Valentine Smith. I see from the history that he left Jemima and moved on somewhere. How sad that is. I have never been able to find out what happened to him or his father, Samuel Smith. It appears Samuel died in Calloway County sometime between 1880 and 1900. His wife, Mary died in the 1900s in Texas where she had been living with my grandfather and his family. Do you have access to any of the Smith history in Calloway County. My father passed when I was 7 and much of his life history went with him.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

William & Martha (BEAL) FALLOWELL

You sent an edit saying that William FALLOWELL, first husband of Martha (BEAL) FALLOWELL-DUNHAM, died 29d 6m 1649. The problem with that date is that this is Martha's second wedding day from when she married 2nd to Samuel Sr. DUNHAM. It can be concluded that William was deceased by 1649. However it could have been a few years earlier.

William & Martha had a son Jonathan who was apparently born about 1644.
The Finney Family of Lenton, Nottinghamshire and Plymouth, Massachusetts authored by Stott, Clifford L. and published in NEHGR Volume 148 #312 (10m 1994) p. 315-327 says that Jonathan was orphaned at about the age of five years, he was placed in the charge of his uncle Robert FINNEY, brother of his paternal grandmother, at age eight years on 26d 8m 1652.

My questions for you are: what happened to Jonathan did he become a grown man and marry and have a family of his own? Did Jonathan have any full brothers and sisters or was he Martha's only child by first husband William FALLOWELL?

Do you have any photos of the Hall family? I was 12 when my father passed and didn't think about asking questions about his family. I found a picture of my grandfather & grandmother but don't have any ancestor pictures. I have some very old pictures but have no idea who they are.
