RE: Frank or Bubba
Frank Gast was not Bubba's father. His father was a man named William Waldman. Gramma got pregnant and didn't want Bill to find out because he was married and had 6 kids,so when she had Uncle Bubba she listed Frank Gast as the father because they had been married.

Frank Gast died from kidney failure and William Waldman died from a perforated ulcer. I don't know the dates for them

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask

John Robert Alexander
Hi Norman, Well you caused me to look back at the FAGrave Memorials and I found a bad error on Isabell Tidwell Alexander's Memorial, and I have corrected it.
John Robert Alexander was married twice: His first wife was Isabell Tidwell. (33042853 so you can see her Memorial.) Her parents were Vincent Clark Karo and Adaline Wells Tidwell. Vincent Clark K. Tidwell's second marriage was to my mother's aunt, Nellie Rose Vaught, and this is how I am related to this family.
John Robert Alexander's second wife was Mary Eakins, daughter of James M. and Mary Ellen Ray Eakins.
Hope this will help you. Charlene.

John Robert Alexander
Hello Norman, Your question was, John Robert Alexander Wife # 1 Adaline Well And wife #2 was Mary Eakins Correct.
My Family Tree Program crashed and I am in the process of its resturation....and pray it will download to the new 2014 program. It has had a problem in it for sometime, so now the crash. Have not been able to back it up for sometime either. Will get back with you later on this when I can be sure of that being correct, but if it is on either of their FindAGrave Memorials than I probably have some kind of record that states the two wives. Have a great day. Charlene

Hearn grave in Randolph
Hi Norman,

http://files.usgwarchives.net/al/randolph/cemeteries/hearne.txt

This is the usgwarchives.net the Randolph County link and then click Cemeteries, then click G-L and you will see Asa Hearn grave link.

I think I tried to research Asa over at ancestry with no luck. I will try again with the name you sent.

Mike

Margaret "Maggie" Alexander Chaney
Do you happen to know where Henry and Jane's daughter, Maggie Chaney, is buried? The 2 lived with Ms. Chaney (a widow) per 1900 Census in Grimes County. Information I have come across says Ms. Chaney died in Teague Texas but I am unable to find a grave for her. Thank you!
