I have been doing family genealogy for about 20 years now. I have found an amazing amount of information when visiting cemeteries looking for family graves....sometimes I've found a marriage date or that their legal name was different than what I had known. I know how frustrating it is to have a family member buried in another state or just very far away and I'm unable to get there. I will be posting all the family headstones that I have pictures for and I'd be happy to take photos for others of graves in my area. |
My family surnames: Kraft/Kreft, Rosin/Rosen, Lemke/Lempke, Engel, Kleiman, Cline/Klein...then.... Levitt, Cornwell, McDonald, Lehman, Snelgrove, Duby, Winter,...also (husband's) Langolf, Alexander, Smyth/Smith, Beach, Taulbee, Mudge, Centers, and Henry. I was adopted and have found my biological family....so I have 2 family trees.....and then my husband's family tree makes 3 all together!
Good luck in your search!

Oops, Joseph was born in 1840 or 1841 in Germany not 1861

I am a amber and will have to look. I am off the Rewa clan that settled in Allegan Co MI (between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids). I do not have Elmer in my study. I know there was a Joseph Rewa that was born in 1861 and lived in the eastern side of MI for many years. Is he a part of Elmer's family?

Do you have any information on the Rewa's from Michigan. I see Elmer was born in MI.

Jane Percival Arnold
Buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Macomb County, Mt Clemens, MI
Find a Grave # 59446024
Jane is my wife's grandmother. Her maiden name is JACKSON. Janes's (husband or ex-husband don't know)
Elmer B Arnold is buried in Needmore Cemtery, Eaton County, Needmore, MI
I am searching for any family members, or any information that will help me continue on my search.
I think that they have roots in NEBRASKA but not real sure. Since Jane passed in 1938 my wife has very little information to help me continue.
Hello again! your message "There seems to be 2 identical memorials for Ferdinand Schroeder, yours and another in Snay Cemetery, Sanilac County, MI.
They have the same photos, too.
I'm confused, which one is correct? "
Hmmm I have never been to Snay--only Forestville--did notice that Snay is also known as Delaware Cemetery and Forestville is also known as Delaware Township Cemetery.
My picture was taken at the Forestville Cemetery where the Schroeder's memorial is located.

As you requested I am transfering your Great-Great Aunt & Uncle, Charles & Amelia Wendt memorials to you and I wish for you the bit of contentment that comes in knowing you are caring for your family memorials.

|Angela Owens Jando||Wojciaczek memorials|
I received your edit requests for the Wojciaczek memorials. Do you happen to have a photo of their gravestones or a more specific date? If we go by their age at the time of death, the year could be wrong. I would prefer to add a full date or leave the notation of the age in the notes field.
Please let me know. Thanks!
|Shirley Hoard||I got them tranferred to you|
I'm glad that they are back in the right family. The cemetery if just a few miles from me and small so I did all the stone that was in it. I've been transferring the ones I find family for.

Hi Marilyn, These are not related to me so if you would like them transferred to you just let me know.

Been thinking about your photo request...I took a picture of a fieldstone near Theresa's grave. I can send you a copy of the photo if you want to see it. My e-mail address is listed on my page, just send me a note and I'll attach the photo to my request.
